pretty depressing... =/

so im 37 weeks and my baby's going to come out soon and i feel like im not ready and i'm not going to be able to give him anything... you see, in the beginning, we were going to have to pay $2,000 for when the baby was born so my boyfriend was saving up... we switched insurance and now we only have to pay $250.... my boyfriend got in a caraccident and he doesn't have car insurance so he has to pay all this money for so many things.. and then his mom got in a car accident like 2 weeks later and since she doesn't work he was helping her out and now we dont even have money =( we only have $115 saved up and so now we're thinking of selling all these bottles and cans i have but that will probably only give me at most about $20.. he's been searching for a job because he got laid off abouta monthago, but no luck so far =/ and his dad said he could probably get him a job that pays $15 the hourbut his dad isn;t ever around so i don't wanna get my hopes up if he doesn't even get it..... anyway, i don;t know what to do.. i can't hekp but cry because everything was going so well and now that im almost due i have no money... i just hope he gets a job SOON... sorry it's so long i just had to write it out.. thanks if you read the whole thing =/

Were you not able to get a medical card? I'm from La but I thought pregnant girls automatically got the medical card? That's how it was with my mom and myself.

If not then that sucks. I hope you guys are able to get on your feet fast, quick, and in a hurry! Good luck momma!

I know exactly how you feel, im only 20 weeks right now but everything was looking up and I applied to college, then Volkswagon came to repo my b/fs car today, he had an iterview and I havent heard from him at all today and he hasn't been online at all today, im terrified they took the car at the interview(out of town) and that he's up there freezing to death. Then how is he going to get a job without the car, and how am I going to go to college if he doesn't have a job working nights to pay for baby stuff while I go to school during the day, it's turned into so many horrible things, that I can't do anything about, and I felt so good, now I just feel horrible, it seems every door is slamming in our faces, I have a few ideas but they depend on me getting this job I applied for (17 pregnant and no prior job experience so I doubt it) or maybe me using the car my dad lets me use to take him to work (the first month or so) if he got that job so he can save up money to get a used car, if I get the job I applied for im going to try to get enough money to buy a used car for him, im so worried he felt like a failure and pathetic and killed himself or something, or they took the car when he was on the road and left him there.My family doesnt like him so I cant ask them for help or tell them which makes it worse.Let me know how things go for you though.

you have to qualify for stuff like that.... and my mom and dad make good income.. so i never really qualify for anything =/

but yea i hope so... he doesn;t want to work for minimum wage but i think ANYTHING would do right now

ugh... sounds horrible... but that's basically how i feel... and it sucks because his mom always asks him for money and stuff and it's like i'm pregnant and she shouldn't expect so much from him because he needs to pay off stuff for the baby and she's basically leaving him broke..... well i hope things turn out well for you too.... you can PM me if anything =)
