How long does a heat rash last?

posted 2nd Aug '10
Yesterday, my son was fine. No rash, good mood and it was actually a bit cool. Today when he woke up he had a rash on his chest, legs and arms. He's had one before but it was only under his arms a little. When should it go away? I just checked him now and it's still as bad as this morning.

I gave him one before bed and because it was so hot today, we spent all day inside.

Are you sure its heat rash? Kaden usually only gets heat rash ifi ts hot and he has clothes on, if you take them off it geos away rather quickly.

On Thursday, my daughter developed a rash EVERYWHERE!! I thought maybe it was heat rash, but she STILL has it.   I think hers might be an allergic reaction to something...? I hope his goes away asap!

I wasn't too sure but he hasn't eaten anything different because he's so picky. I found out today that he's getting a molar in but have never heard of a body rash from teething.

Kids can get rashes from weird things. K developed a rash on Saturday abd since then two people have told me their kids got full body rashes from ear infection and that their kid was showing no other signs of an ear infection.

I hope it goes away too. It's not an itchy rash it's just everywhere but his face. Did you feed her anything new?
