My story.

I have lived my whole life as a pro-life momma. Refusing to believe that abortion was okay in any circumstance. Well today everything changed.

I have been going through a miscarriage for a little while now. The doctor has just kept brushing me off. I was in so severe pain I called him and he wouldn't see me and told me NOT to go to the hospital he would call in higher pain meds and he would see me on monday. I decided after a couple hours I was going to the hospital no matter what he said. I went to a hospital I knew he didn't have treatment rights at. They did an ultrasound and seen the fetal pole along with a uterus full of blood and also full of blood was the amniotic sac. They wanted to take a closer look so they did a 3d US. They found not one but 2 babys. They were joined around the stomach. There was only one set of legs but 2 torsos and such. The one baby had a very strong and clear 137 heart rate, the other baby had nothing. They came in and talked to me. They told me with them being conjoined and one dead the other one most likely wouldn't make it to term and if it did it wouldn't live long. So I had to decide what to do.
1. abort the living child before it died.
2. Continue on and hope I made it to term with a live baby and that the multiple surgeries would help to save its life. ( they told me this was a silm to none chance but yes the chance was there)
If I chose option 2 I ran the risk of severe infection that could kill me. At that moment all I could think about was my son and my husband. I couldn't leave them alone because I was selfish enough to put my life on the line for a slight chance this baby would live.
I made the decision to go through with the abortion. My angels were born and died today at 8:37pm. They will always be loved and never forgotten.

*To my angel who was born with its ity bity beating heart, I am so sorry honey. That was the hardest decision mommy ever had to make in her life. I hope you are in heaven with youe twin having the best time in the world. Mommy can't wait to see you guys again one day. Please forgive me.

Oh gosh Im so sorry you had to make this difficult decision. My hearts breaking for you, but you did what you think is best for your family, and your angels and thats all that matters. I hope you feel better

it was a good desion to make sorry you had to make that desion if i was in your situation i think i would have done the same thing it was the best for you and your family and it was right
