There's a limit of 50 private messages - once you get new messages they push the oldest messages out automatically. This way, you will get the newer ones (i.e. it won't block messages from others if your inbox is full). If you want to keep the older messages you can save them to your saved messages.

Oh I see. I was worried if my mailbox was full, I wouldn't get new messages.

my gaga keeps blinking   i don't know how else to describe it LOL it looks like the page loads fully then a second later it blinks off and then back again. it's not a huge issue since it only takes a second, but it is hard on the eyes haha

What kind of system / browser are you running? Do you have an older/slow computer?

i use firefox, and it's a newish computer. it has pretty much stopped though, i totally forgot to come back to this thread!

I'm getting e-mails from every reply on a post! I know the e-mails were disabled before from this, so I wanted to let you guys know.

What can happen is that you can get several email notifications when you're actively online -- if you reply to a topic and it then gets another reply, you get another notification, so if you are actively chatting in a topic it will send one for each time you get a reply to your replies...

Ok thanks! It was brought up in a thread yesterday , and I wanted to ask for her.

I have all email subscriptions turned off, so I don't know if this would remedy my question...but...is there a feature to jump to the first unread post in a thread instead of always being linked to page 1?

Example: I click on "X topic replies", get sent to "my watched topics," click on the red topic, and I'm sent to page 1. I don't always remember what page I was on when I last replied, so it's a scavenger hunt at times to find the first unread post...

Instead of clicking on the red topic, click on the last reply button just to the right of it (the right column) -- that will take you to the exact post when you last _viewed_ the topic.
