re: TELL US ABOUT OUR NEW FORUM BUGS

I don't know if this is necessarily a bug or just another example of how OCD i am, but when someone posts a picture and you quote them, the quote shows up blank...i think it would be cool if it showed the picture, that way if you're responding to something hours later, people remember what you're talking about.

Also, when a youtube video is posted and someone quotes it, it doesn't show up like a quote at all, it just looks as if the video has been reposted. (i don't know if that makes since, i can show you an example if you need it lol)

I don't know if it is my computer, but everything looks jacked up. I don't know how to explain it any better than that. The website looks like it under construction or something. Please help me make it look normal again.

I dont know if this has been brought up before, but the 'log in automatically' never works for me. Does it work for anyone else? I check the box everytime I log in and I have to re-log in everytime.

Uh oh - I thought this was fixed...hmm. Where do you usually log in? From the login page (i.e. by clicking the login tab at the top right of the page) or on the forums (e.g. when posting it requests that you log in and pops up a little window).

I don't like that you have to use a site like photobucket to post pics. Why can't we just upload them from our computers?

Love the site though, it has been a Godsend.

I must agree, I end up not posting anything just because there are extra steps involved, I know, I'm lazy

Nick answered this back on page 15.... but i'll quote him.

"Regarding the uploading of images, we had decided to keep images hosted elsewhere because most of you have image hosting accounts already, which would reduce the need to re-upload (linking is quicker than uploading). Also, even though the disk space required for images is relatively cheap these days, the bandwidth requirements are still very costly. We have debated on and off about hosting images ourselves but charging a small monthly fee to cover the costs, but we really just want to keep the site 100% free."

I think I know what might be causing the login troubles -- do you visit the pages at baby-gaga.com or babygaga.com? They both show the same page, but the "official" domain is the one with the hyphen, so that one stores the cookies that are used by the login system.

Let me know if you switch up between babygaga.com and baby-gaga.com, as this would be the root of the problem, and you can solve it by always going to baby-gaga.com (i.e. forum.baby-gaga.com, etc.)

Thank You. I only got my photobucket account so I could post pics on BG. I only upload to photobucket when I want to post here, or am considering it. I would be willing to pay a small fee to upload here. I understand why they would want to keep the site free, maybe they could give us the option of either?

I will look into offering a hosting solution so that image linking isn't mandatory. We are planning an update for our photos & media somewhere down the line, so I can code in the feature for direct uploads, I am not sure yet if we can keep this free or offer this for a small fee - we'd prefer to keep it free, though.

Great! This problem has been bugging me for months & months now, I just couldn't figure out why some members were not staying logged in, and finally, FINALLY it occurred to me whilst doing doing some random house chores  

I keep getting an error message in a pop up window everytime i click someone's 'about me'. It wont let me copy and paste the message and i'm too e-tarded to take a screenshot but it has the yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it (like what it shows when you have limited connectivity with wireless internet) and then says jxAction followed by what appears to be the code for that particular persons sig because it varies in length and contents for each person. After i click 'ok' it shows up just fine, so nothing is really wrong i just thought i'd let you guys know
