I have noticed that a lot of people are "leaving" baby-gaga due to drama and such..
People who come here for advice (what the site is actually for) are getting treated badly. I understand, a lot of them feed into the drama, but personally, I think it would be much better if there werent any drama to feed into..
Like, if you come across something you dont like, then you should just pass it on..
In a lot of situations, its probably best to just not say anything, if you dont have anything nice to say..
I would just hate to see baby-gaga go to the dogs, ya know?
I am not trying to start drama so please dont take it that way..I am sure a lot of you will agree with me...I love all of you girls and I love hearing about your babies and seeing new pics! I love this site..so please, lets keep it going in the right direction!

I have quit coming to PWI to avoid this kind of attitude...but honestly, if someone is feedind their 2 week old solids or something equally idiotic something SHOULD be said. Living life around a bunch of yes-men is LAME and leads to a lot of people making grave mistakes. Something needs to be said to a lot of people on here...

Aren't you the girl who put the Mike's banner in her siggy?
Yeah..ok.

totally agree, alot of questions get ignored
i for one think why do i even post? im not one of the 'popular' ones so noones gonna reply anyway!!!
and personally i find it fucking stupid that a pregnany/ babies forum even has 'popular' people to begin with!, its gonna end up as some personal pregnany/ babies forum for the 'popular' ones at this rate!

this is what she is talking about.. if you really dont like PWI or you cant hold your tounge dont come here
its been told a million times before.. you shouldnt be giving your child cereal unless approve by the Ped.
yes i find some of the post very stupid but i dont go in there and cause a fight. I give my advice
but i think most girls that "leave" lurk.. Shit i even said i was going to leave.. but I realized i shouldnt let some mean comment get to me that is made over the internet by girls i would probaly never meet

You know I have alot of problems with this site but I won't leave. I have gotten alot of support from the memebers on here through my difficult pregnancy and I LOVE seeing all the baby pics even if I don't comment. I try to be helpfull without being too know it all ish (which I sometimes come across as being, lol) but if I see someone attacking someone else on this forum I make my voice heard that that's just not right.

I agree with the drama needing to go. But people are intitled to their own opinions. That's something you have to deal with when you lay your business out on the internet. If someone posts something in my threads I don't agree with then I either ignore them or try to explain my point. If they don't care to listen then, whatever! haha
I'm not here for drama or catfights, i'm here to get help and help others with the little bit of knowledge that I have gained from 2 months of motherhood. And god knows without you ladies I would definately be lost when it comes to A LOT of things about my baby. So I appreciate you all, for every comment you make in my threads. Whether I agree or not!
And so does Easton, b/c that makes his mommy understand him better! Which leaves us both Smiling most of the time!

Drama is unavoidable and especially on a site with this many members that deals with controversial topics that concern our children. Posting for all to remain respectful to everyone is like asking people to use correct grammar or not make typos. It's not going to happen. The best you can do is try to lead by example. Personally I am tired of the "I am leaving this site b/c of the drama." posts. If they want to leave, fine, I wish them the best. But if you can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen. But at the same time I don't ask em to not post their goodbye threads; they have the right to post as I have the right to ignore it. We are all adults here, if we don't like something that is said we can either ignore it, challenge it, or leave. But schooling others on etiquette is just futile imo. Yes it would be a shame if baby gaga became more about drama than trading advice and personal experiences...but I would prefer that to the alternative: a site where people are restricted to voicing opinions that won't offend.

thats true...
but like the song goes
why cant we be friends why cant we be friends!
lol but in all honesty this subject should probally be dropped before its sent to TDC
but everyone is entitled to thier openions but some girls take it to the next level and find humor in putting people down or just "stalking" thier posts

thats good enough for me!

So, if someone posts something that we know to be harmful, we should just not say anything because it's not "nice"?
