Poll is based on your first pregnancy.

1st: Unplanned, girl
2nd: Planned, boy
3rd: Unplanned, Surprise

The shettles method was correct with my first two (used for my second, but looking back on my 1st, correct as well) If that is the case again, this one will be a girl as well.

I've been reading about the Shettles method, and I read somewhere that the time in a woman's cycle when she and her partner are most likely to want sex (due to hormones, pheromones, etc.) is when the woman is most likely to conceive a girl.

And there ARE more females than men in the world, so it makes sense. I was wondering if an unplanned pregnancy is more likely to result in a female, since the sex perhaps was more spontaneous.

Hehe.. so results indicate most of us got knocked up accidentally the first time

My first was unplanned and my second was ... relatively planned. But we weren't TTC yet so I guess it was more unplanned from that point of view. Both boys.

The next one I am going to attempt to make a girl. Lol

Interesting, my unplanned pregnancy was a girl. But we also concieved her from sex approx. 5 days before ovulation, same with this one....also unplanned. My son however was concieved from sex that happened on the day of ovulation. Which goes with the theory that male sperm is quicker but dies faster than female sperm.

Huh. That's cool.

One would think it would be a boy. With hormones and ovulation and whatnot
