This thread is to get back to our roots, just because I've been more active on BG lately - and I'm really missing the good old days of our "group"

I miss the old days of BG
I miss the chatty-ness BG brought to our old thread.
There is a chance this wont take off.. because so many of us just stick to talking to each other on FB... BUT there are some... like HELEN, that don't want to have accounts in every social networking site out there.
Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there!!

Oh and might I just start out by saying... OMG - I made this post in parents with TODDLERS. Where has the time gone?!

I miss the old days too! Every single one of the JMM girls have a special place in my heart, regardless of all the drama that happened. I'm completely willing to (as I already have) let all the crap that happened in the past stay that way, in the past.   Hopefully a good number of the JMM girls will come back in here and we can be our crazy chatty selves again!

With that said, I guess I'll update on how we're doing here.

Nicholas is officially 18 months old now, and I really don't know where the time has gone! His vocabulary is really taking off! He's a total HAM, and loves to climb things, which scares that crap out of me. He's been Mr. Turbo lately and wants to run EVERYWHERE and sometimes his feet move too slow to keep up with him and he tumbles giving him scraped knees and the such. BUT, he is tough, and just gets back up and keeps going! He's getting that toddler look too, instead of that baby look. He is 25lbs and 31in. But, he's still a picky little eater. Some days he won't eat hardly a thing, the next day he wants 10 bananas (of course i won't give him that many! LOL ). He has yet to have his first haircut because I'm really apprehensive about cutting his adorable curls off!

Soooo, how is everyone else? How are the Little Ones? I miss ya'll and hope this thread will take off with a reunion like Valisa has imagined!   <3

****ETA: We are NOT trying for another baby yet. Everyone always asks us that. We're letting nature take it's course, and I have still yet to get my period 18 months later. If it happens, we'd be thrilled, but we're definitely not trying like original plans were to in July 2010****

Oh my - well we might just start right off with Kristy being the best picture whore still   lol I'll join that band waggon soon  

And Kristy - this is totally random - but how do you like those crayons?? Brooke likes to color - but the only thing I have in this house is markers.. and that has been fine with MAXIMUM supervision and guiding   lol.. But I am thinking of getting her a little toddler art set..

Rose- Thanks. I can't believe he's already 6 months away from 2!!!! I just wanna make the time stop!  

Valisa- Hehehe, yea, I've always been a picture whore haven't I?   We love those crayons, they're so easy for him to hold and move. We also have some triangle shaped ones and those are good too. We did Markers for Father's Day cards, and that was fun, but messy! Definitely needs MAXIMUM supervision! We're going to do some finger painting soon too. Nicholas loves to color!

Valisa- I am on BG a lot too. This site is like a drug! An you being on more is good cause you can push your little Dear Brooke line   I really do love the things you make and can't wait to buy from you for Aeris 2nd birthday. I think we are going to do a princess theem cause she is out little princess!

Rose- Hello mama  ! Did you end up taking Jays pics on your photo shoot that you said you were going to? If so I can't wait to see them!!

Kristy- Glad to see Nicholas is doing good and yes all the LO's are growing up too fast!

Update on Me- You all know Dan finally got a job! Thank God. But sadly our internet will be off for a while starting the 9th   but you got to do what you go to do. We will try to get it back on ASAP! And I hope Konner is not born before it does. But with Konner we did deiced to have him circumcised so that will cost us 200.00. I still can't believe in a few weeks he will be here. And I really can't believe Jess is going to have her LO very SOON! Cazy!

Alright that is the end for now   And I will keep up until we get shut off.

Jojo, can't believe that you and jess are nearly due! Hopefully your pregnancy has gone by as quickly for you as it has for me!

Wow I feel like a stranger! I don't do BG much anymore but valissa you are irestiable!lol I am on my blackberry and have never responded to a forum so I don't know how its going to work out. So who the heck is pregnant and who isn't? All the babies are beautiful I will post pics when I can get to a real computer. I missed everyone! Update on me.... Landin is so freaking ginormous litterally the child weighs almost 70 lbs and wears a size EIGHT in boys! He is only 4 he is the size of 8-9 year olds I'm actually kind of worried about it so the next time we go to the doc I am going to mention it because its almost to much to belive. When we go out to eat people think I lie about his age and he played T-ball this year and towered his 7 year old team mates. I hope its nothing to worry about. Coltin is my little monster he is wild.NOTHING like landin was. He knows what he wants and no one will stand in his way we all are coming down with a cold so he's pitiful right now   and I'm STILL breastfeeding he LOVES his boobies and the older he gets the more attached he is we don't feed really much during the day just really at night. As much as I complain about it I'm the one who hasn't tried to stop it so I dunno, I'm thinking maybe around 2 we will see I'm going to hit the hay it reallyt is awesome to hear about yall I never forgot any of you!

Jojo- Good to hear Dan got a job, it's always nice to know there is some stability. John is still in transition of his new Job, so we're about in the same boat. Aeris is adorable, and I can't believe Konner is almost due! Wow, time has flown by!

Kristen- Congrats on the pregnancy! I love that you're keeping it a surprise, you're tougher than I am there, I'm too impatient!  

Amanda- Jude and Hazel are getting so big! Look at all that hair that Hazel has! Wow! Such beautiful children!

Nicole- My goodness Landin is a big boy! My Cousin Derek was like that until about 7th grade, then he started evening out with the rest of his class. Today he is 21 and is 6' 220lbs. Coltin and Nicholas sound the same with the boobies. Nicholas has slowed down a bunch during the day, only like 1-2 times, but it's an all night boobie buffet here. The older he gets the more attached he is! Can't wait to see pics of the boys!
