yep, info from 2008 shows that they were at an 18% c-sec rate and 64% vbac rate, the best in the state and much better than many other states!! I am quite pleased.

I've never been in labor or even delivered vaginally
I have a singleton that I had from a c-section
And twins who were also born c-section . I am
Pregnant again and hoping for a vba2c has anyone
else had a vba2c and had success here? My hospital
will let me do a trial vaginal birth before resorting
to a csection because they said it's my choice
Although they aren't keen on the idea.

hopefully by following a strict diabetic diet you can control the weight gain for both you and baby and by doing so maybe you will get your chance at a vbac. You may go into labor earlier this time. I would just wait and see. Hope you get your vbac! Did you labor and dilate to 10 with your first and just not get anywhere with the pushing or did labor stall? We had one in here not too long ago that had gestational diabetes and had a vbac after 2 previous c-section

not saying your diet is bad but a diabetic diet is different than most and though you are eating healthy too much fruit (b/c of the sugar) can be a bad thing just like breads and pasta turn into sugar and so you need to watch all of that. I dilated to 10 with my first and she got stuck on my pubic bone facing up at +2 station so that is past the pelvic and on the way out. With my vbac i had no issues and labor was 3x's faster and so much easier. I hope for you sake that you get that vbac

I had my VBA2C a little over 3 months ago.

My first baby was an emergency cesarean after a failed induction. I went in for a Non-stress test 8 days after DD and my amniotic fluid was very low so I was induced, but after 16 hours my son went into fetal distress and I had only dilated a fingertip.

My second was an attempt at a VBAC but 10 days past my DD I still had no signs of labor or dilation so, because of other circumstances as well, we had a repeat.

My 3rd we treated like any other pregnancy and went for it again. I showed very little progress even up until the morning of the day I went into labor but at 1 week after my DD I had a vaginal birth after spontaneous labor

I had an excellent Dr who actually prefers to go vaginally as long as there are no serious complications and a hospital that was also very VBAC friendly. Made all the difference in the world!

I got my VBAC 2 days ago. My midwife was outstanding, when i was nearing there limits, she covered for me and I delivered my 3.92kg baby boy in the water with no pain relief. I am so over the moon. It was so totally different to my first delivery. words cannot express how overwhelmed I am by the power of the female body. everyone who wants to VBAC, trust your body Its an amazing thing. You can do this
