Quoting RainbowDash:" I'm still here. Nothing yet. My OB scheduled a c-section for Thursday afternoon and will not go any further. ... [snip!] ... how much longer I can go. If she's not here by Thursday, I'm probably just going to go in for the c-section in the afternoon."sorry to hear that rainbow. Have you tried osteopathy/ accupuncture to turn her? if your bp is climbing though then out is safer than in. i'll still keep my fingrs crossed for you

We are def not scheduling a repeat section until 41w5d, so that is good. Anyone have any advice?"what position was your first in? The reason I ask is b/c I do not have a narrow pelvis but my first got stuck face up on my pubic bone. I honestly don't see how a doctor can say you have a narrow pelvis b/c as you get closer to your due date your pelvic muscle become more and more loose making more room for baby to come through. I wish you well and hope you prove your doctor wrong.

Try staying upright throughout labor to let gravity help him come down, and labor at home as long as you can! ...That's what my Dr. told me too when I went to her first.. that I could attempt a vbac, but it would most likely end in a repeat section. It was basically because of liability reasons though, which she told me.. I had my first section because my son was in the wrong position & I wasn't 'progressing fast enough'

I stood by the bed and even got up on my knees in the bed and a few times sitting in almost indian style. I did lay on my sides a few times to try and rotate the head (moving side to side) and that was so painful. I highly recommend anything but laying down. I also labored at home til my contractions were 2 and 3 mins apart.
