I cant believe anyone would say maybe the baby is too big to come out. Especially in this group. Its being put on a time limit that is the problem here. All the pressure not very many people could start labor under those circumstances. The baby is just not ready, period. Size has nothing to do with that. I had a 12lb baby and didnt tear. Big babies are not bad and its a pet peeve of mine when people say, I would not wanna push a ____ lb baby out. A small baby can have a big head and that cant feel any different

I apologize for anything that I said while chatting. I didn't realize it came across as me saying that big babies can't be born vaginally.

I didn't care how big my kids were...I wanted a vaginal. I knew she was gonna be big this time around.. weekly u/s showed that. But *I* didn't care..it was the doctors who were nervous and then (I feel) used my BP issues as a reason for a c section.
And of course.. me being scared and sick...I gave in

I knew you guys didnt feel that way in your heart but there are lurkers in here that look up to us and I would not want to plant that seed of doubt in their head like someone did to me with my first. Im also prego and I knew I took that more to heart than necessary

I am a shade over 8 weeks out from my dd.

is there anything I can do to make sure I am physically ready? after 2 sections, I am ready to do this! I started low intensity yoga and am pushing myself to be as active as I can. Baby is head down, thankfully - and hasn't moved since 24 weeks. (though I obviously know they can turn again since my son did at 39 weeks... )

just check in!

Being a few weeks behind you, my doula told me to start doing squats whenever I do laundry to help bring the baby down....

I also wrote down some tips that I read about..Idk if they actually work or not.
34 weeks: starting drinking Raspberry leaf tea
36 weeks: Start evening primrose - orally until 38 weeks than use internally after.
37 weeks: start long walks
38 weeks: start induction foods
40 weeks: try everything else lol..Acupressure, bouncing on birthball, squats, stretch and sweep, walking..etc...

My midwife is having me take weekly chiro trips starting at 36 weeks, to help the baby get into position. Evening primrose oil, you take the capsule, poke a hole in it and pop it up there. And red raspberry leaf tea is good for getting the body ready.

Thank you, I will save this. I need to do everything I can to be favorable for my vba2c.
