Hi ladies
I have a 10 month old boy and he has always been good with sleeping through the night. Ever since he was 7 weeks he slept from 6pm till 8am.
Now just recenly he starts SCREAMINGGGGGG several times a night with his eyes shut. Nothing you do makes him calm down. Giving him even panadol in case he's in pain doesnt work. I dont know what to do anymore. I cant get my sleep! SO frustrating!!!
I dont know what this is or what to do????????
I also have a 20 month old son and he has never done this.
Can anyone plaease help me?

My daughter does this occasionally too. And the most frustrating part is that anything I do to comfort her actually makes it worse. So now I just go in and make sure she has her pacifier and give her some water in a sippy and put her back down and she usually calms down after a bit. I have had to just turn off the baby monitor and try to ignore it though. I think it is just a stage though, because it was really bad around her first birthday and it's less than once a week.

Thank you for your reply. I also just heard from a mum that it could be night terrors where they dont wake up like they do in nightmares.
My poor baby! And me lol.
it took him nearly 2 hours to calm down last night.

I agree! I read that night terrors don't start until they are older, but that is exactly what it sounds like! But the worst part of that is there is literally nothing you can do to help them. They say being over tired is part of it though and I notice Katelyn's worst nights are on days when she's hardly napped.
