Hot baths and pregnancy

My husband and I bought a hot tub last monday, we found out I was pregnant last thursday.....BUMMER

so this means I cant be in a hot tub, what if the temp was low? Just warm....

I just lowered the temperature in mine to 99 degrees. My doctor said it was fine, they just don't want your body temperature raised too high (5 degrees)

Further into your pregnancy you are going to love that hot tub.  I found last time, my jetted tub was wonderful for dealing with the swelling in my legs. 

I would get in the tub, and put my ankles and swollen bits in the path of the jets.  Within 10 minutes I would be having to jump out of the tub to pee.  (Well no jumping with a big belly   ).  It did a wonderful job of reducing the swelling.

Also it was just great to lie in to take some of the weight of the big belly.

I just avoided mine for the first trimester.
