Morgan just got her first bath at home and I think she really liked it. not to much crying. Her hair is so pretty when first washed and brushed. I put some lotion on her dry lil toes and she held them out for me to massage. She loved it!

My boobs are KILLING me I know I did this with Jaden too so I am not so concerned about it. She just had her second feeding today where she seems content so my milk must be coming in thank gawd!

I am so worried about Jess and Kogan. not for their safety but of the tramatic experiance. I would have been so scared!

Morgan sounds like a doll... was it just a sponge bath? Did you take pics?

no didnt take pics... bummer! Yeah a little sponge bath. I lay a waterproof crib pad down with her hoodie towel and wash her up. Head to toe and cover her as I go so she doesnt get cold. I thought for sure she would scream at me since she hates to have her diaper changed.

How are the babys I seen the new pics of them tuesday night. they are so cute! They should be coming home soon right?

I am freaked about Jess too. It just sounds scary.

Aww how cute. You should of took pictures of her. So what made yall come up with the name Morgan? Was that on your list of possiblites, or did you just know it when you saw her?

The babies are doing ok.... I think they are taking a step backwards, they aren't takeing all 8 bottles.... it's retarded that they have to eat at a certain time, and a certain amount to progress... what if they aren't hungry? It drives me crazy how the NICU works. I know they are just trying to get them healthy, but I don't see the big deal as long as they are still gaining weight. So who knows when they will get to come home. The earliest will be Thursday... but it may be later then that   I am just SO READY for them to be home so we don't have to make the 45 min drive every day back and forth, plus now that they aren't takeing their feedings, we are talking about going up there to feed them. The nurse is going to try again at 11 (their next feeding time) and if they don't take that bottle, we told the nurse to call us and we'll go feed them at the 2am feeding. We've never had a problem feeding them. I went there this morning and Kera took her bottle in 7 mins, and the next feeding was 11 mins. Drake was 12 mins the first time, and 15 mins the next time. It's just so frustrating!

Melissa how often do you get to be there? Sorry don't know how the nicu works. Aiden was in there @ 2wks old for 4 days, but that was over 7yrs ago.

I could be there anytime, except the times of 6:30-8 both AM and PM. But we live 45 mins away, so we only make it there once a day for about 3-4 hours a day. But tonight we may make two trips depending if they take this next feeding or not.

Morgan is a name we liked before we got pregnant. Good for either boy or girl. I let Kevin name her by himself. I decided I named both my boys and this is his first so I let him do it. I think he did pretty well. He didnt much like Julieann or Lilyann.

Your hubby did do a good job naming her. Is he in love or what?? How do your boys like her?

Oh my Gosh, Jess had her baby! What a crazy way to deliver! After reading all of the posts, I too, am worried for her. I hope she wasn't too scared, and I hope that someone was able to be there for her, poor thing. Kogon is so little!

So, nothing new after my appointment today. I am still fingertip, still 90%, still -1. No change at all in the last week. I pray that this baby doesn't go overdue. I am starting to get a sneaking suspicion that he/she will, daddy was 4 wks overdue. Why me?!? Peanut is officially being served an eviction notice!!! Get out!! At the least, I hope this baby at least allows us our anniversary, June 1st. I would like to keep that day sacred if at all possible, lol.

Melissa 2- I am sorry to hear that Kera and Drake aren't eating enough these past couple of days. That is so frustrating, but I am sure it's just a phase. Give them a day or two, they may start another growth spurt and take those final 2 bottles. They are growing, so that's a good sign! Hang in there, they are in good hands (I know not as good as yours at home. )

Kim and Natalie, I can't wait to see more pictures of your little girls!

I really like the name Morgan, it's very pretty! Jay called me at work yesterday and told me that he is second guessing our names and he found some more online. I was impressed, considering all he could do at the beginning of our pregnancy was joke around and make up stupid names, like "Vengence" and "Vendetta", seriously...boys.   Anyway, I thought it was cute that he's thinking of these things when I'm not shoving all this baby info in his face. We both agreed on the names in the beginning, but I give him the most credit for doing the footwork. So, after talking to him, we decided to keep the girl's name we always liked, and changed the boy's middle name. I think it sounds even better now and I can't wait to tell you guys once baby is born!

Agreed! I am going back to Yoga tomorrow, too. Hopefully that will do something. I have been walking around a lot this week since I went back to work. There's a lot of square footage in that office, my gosh! I am officially at the point where my body feels too heavy for my legs. It's getting hard to walk around and I 've gotta be waddling by now, lol.
