re: TTC Grads hang here

Sorry I've missed so much this week, it's been active on the board! I went back to work on Monday and have been pretty busy since, so getting on the computer hasn't been easy.

Ughh, I am reading all of these posts and I want to cry. I can't believe all of my due date buddies are getting ready to deliver or have already delivered, and here I am with nothing more than a BH contractions. I did have a good one today while I was getting my hair cut. My stylist chuckled at me when she saw the face I was making. She told me that with a face like that, it was a real contraction! Yay, but nothing else, not even a scant tinge of show. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, let's pray that something has changed!

Jess, I can't believe little Kogon is teasing you already! I'll cross my fingers for you that he's willing to stay in a little longer til Mike or your mom can get there.

Kim, I love the pics. Your little lady is so cute and has a beautiful head of hair! I am sorry your labor didn't go as well as you'd hoped, but I bet you are so happy to have her out here now and not inside beating the crud out of you anymore!

Melissa1- Can't wait to see your pics of your new do! I chopped my hair today as well, and feel so much better since! The lower maintenance, the better!

Melissa 2-Keep posting pics of the babies, they are sooo cute, and getting so big!

Natalie- I am glad to hear that you, DH, and Irelyn are doing well. Just hang in there, the tiredness will pass and you'll be able to totally enjoy her every minute of the day. You are alread;y a great mommy to her!

Well ladies, we go back for Dameon's 1 month check up today... he's gotta go get weighed.. he was 5lbs 14oz last wednesday at his appointment, lets see how much he's gained   I'm betting he's over 6 lbs by now   I shoulda taken pictures yesterday of him in his jean overall shorts that my mom bought him... they totally swallowed him up! It was so freaking cute! :-D

Thanks girls we are in love with her!

She was up most of the night last night. I could not figure out what was wrong with her poor thing was hungry. She has quite the appitite for a lil thing. Good thing the hospital sent us with formula. She sucked down 4 oz in no time flat and passed out for a long time. She had another 3 this morning. I am nursing before I even offer her the formula and I am a bit paniced that my milk might not come in! I know it is just a mommy worry.

Jess you still having contractions?

I am off to bed again I have not slept much at all this week. From 2 tell 5 was the longest I have slept since monday night. I feel like a zombie!

Well, we just got back from Dameon's 1 month checkup. He's gained 1lb and 1oz since Wednesday, and is up to 6lb 15oz! WOW!   They had to redo his PKU test, and get blood to redo a test that came back abnormal on the 1st PKU... It broke my heart you guys! I had to hold my baby while he was being stuck, and he was just screaming, and the worst part was this silent scream he did when they stuck his arm for the extra blood.

But the doctor says he looks great   He's supposed to go to the Genetics Clinic on June 13th, the heart specialist June 18th, and back to his pediatrician June 20th. Wow we're gonna have a busy week that week!

Kim sweety I'm glad to hear your little miss is eating the way she should! That's always a good thing! And your milk will come in, just give it time hon

Jess had him in her BATHTUB!!!!! He weighed in at 4lbs 14 oz!!!!! He's in NICU for observation. Please pray ladies that all's well with Jess and her little guy.

Congrats Jess!!!!! Don't worry, all will be well with your Kogon.

Aday what the bath tub? Ohh I hope Jess wasn't alone. I am going to pray for her and Kogon right now. Thank the lord they are at the hospital. Kogon is a tiny little fella.

I haven't heard from Jess since 10:30 this morning. Silly me - my phone was off all day so I didn't know I had any text messages. When I turned on my phone I had 3 text messages from her and I freaked out! I don't know if she's alone - I pray she's alright. I left her a vmail but I haven't heard anythign else yet. As soon as I do, I will update you ladies.

I think Angella is now scheduled for June 26 so unless Lacey's little girl decides to make an earlier appearance, I think the order is Court, Aday, Angella, Lacey, and possibly Brandy for the spring/summer babies! Then again, you never know - these children decide enuf is enuf and they come out!

OMG Jess! I knew you should have gone in! I was so worried about that! I hope all is well with you and your little man! Thoughts and prayers for you!

 

Wow Jess, I will keep you and Kogon in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure little man will be just fine and home with you soon enough. I am def. interested in hearing this birth story as it sounds like a interesting one, but nonetheless I really hope the both of you are doing great and I cant wait to see pictures

welp I have failed at letting Kendall go to sleep by herself, she cries and cries, and I can only let her do it or so long..... We go in and check on her every 10-15 minutes, so we're not monsters, but after 1 hour of that crap, I am done, I feel like the biggest terd in the world, and I go get her (I know she could go all night if she wanted to) anywho, I'm thinking she might just be a little too young, so we'll try it again in a few weeks. We are sticking to her nightly routine though, so I hope that will help. She also has her 4 MONTH!! check-up on Monday, no shots though, I have post poned those until 6 months. Hopefully all goes well, and we'll get the go ahead on cereal.
