Quoting ~Kim~ aka timba43:“ Jess.. it was long as in 5-15 minutes that turned into a half hour which turned into us being there for ... [snip!] ... the day! Melissa.. the babies look great. and post away! Getting through myspacecan be time consuming somtimes!
kim, you even wrote that...that's how little my mind is functioning these days!...can we say jess has become a goldfish - no attention span, no memory...just kind of here!

angella - i slept pretty well too last night for the first time in a while. i'm thinking it was due to colder weather...i'm on this rebellious phase of not wanting to turn the a/c on regardless as to the temp nor do i want to close the windows...go figure! so last night the apartment was kind of cold which meant i could snuggle in all my blankets with my boyfriend (aka my body pillow) and snoopy - plus snoopy and kogon didnot get into kicking battles last night which was very nice. i'm convinced that snoopy can sense kogon is part of mike thus she's trying to get closer and closer...but last night i think she was too cold to bother with getting close and choose to stay in her red bed all night.

i went and got fitted for my nursing bras! i bought two one bravado adn one medela both were 38dd...the person who did the measuring thought that should be plenty big for me. i'm a little nervous about that considering that i'm a 34dd to begin with but she was like, you're this far along - putting two exta sizes on your band part will make plenty of room for your chest once your milk comes in...i hope that she's right. i'm getting the nursing tanks off ebay - i didn't feel like spending so muhc more for a tank...

anyway got that done, did some grocery shopping...filled my car with gas...now i'm thinking i may take snoopy for a walk in the park since it looks like its stopped raining...and after that perhaps i'll be ready for a nap...who knows!

Kim I am sorry you have to go out in the sun today! I wish I had sun! It is overcast and is threatening rain. Should make the BBQ Potluck interesting ;)

Jess I am scared to death what my bra size will be when I get my milk in. I am already in a 38ddd right now!

Good afternoon ladies! How's everyone doing? Kim I'm sorry to hear you have to deal with the ex today. That really sucks   Melissa2 don't worry about posting pics, we love them! Your babies are beautiful and I know how wonderful it feels to hold them and feed them.

Kim your lil miss needs to hurry up and interrupt your day!

So, DH and I are going to a cookout for his friend's birthday, so we went to get us each a pair of shorts. Well I'm looking through a rack of blue jean pedal pushers and he hands me a size 12 (mind you I couldn't get into an 18 right before having Dameon). I grabbed a 14 and a 16 too, just in case. So I go in the changing room, pull on the 12 but can't get it zipped, so I pulled on the 14. I haven't been a 14 since BEFORE I got pregnant! and now I am :-D Can we say happy dance?

Hi girlies,

I haven't been on for a few days, and have just spent the past 2 hours catching up on everyone! (Whew!)

Belated Congratulations to Melissa2 (the twins are just perfect!)
And Congrats to Natalie! I can't wait to see a picture and find out your new girl's name!

Thanks to the girls who gave encouraging words and welcomes like 102 pages back (heehee.) You all seem very sweet here, and I agree, there's a refreshing lack of drama here, which appeals to me very much!

So - for me, I'm about 4 1/2 wks along. This is my first pregnancy that I know of (first bfp, for sure,) and I AM SCARED TO DEATH. Ally, you're farther along than I am, but I totally relate to the nervousness and stress - and I haven't been to a midwife or dr. yet! I'm glad you saw a heartbeat - I know that would make it just so much more real to me and give me some peace of mind. I have faith things will go well for you!

I tried going to the clinic on Thursday, to get a confirmation test so DH and I could apply for medicaid. I was pretty sure I would get a bfp there, because I had had 3 positive first response tests. Well, they told me there was a very, very faint positive line and that meant the test was indeterminate, (sp?) and told me to come back in a week and a half. I bawled - we've waited so long, and that nurse just made me feel so let down and doubtful that I was even pregnant. DH made me buy a regular HPT on the way home which I took that afternoon. It came back dark positive within like 12 -15 seconds! So I'm trying to hope for the best, and rest in God's goodness and love.  )

Sorry this is so long! But I had a lot to catch up on!

mydnight that is fantastic! good for you!

so it was made clear to me today that I should take the sperm doner (nathans bio dad.. not the ex) up on his kiaser coverage for nathan. He will then be double covered through kiaser and also have medical for his disability. I should take him to the dentist and get all his work done. He doesnt need braces but he does need a retainer to pull his teeth back from his tounge thrusting. I was even suggested one time to have a permement one put in. I think I just may do that! Not to mention that since we are now on a deducuctable plan that the double coverage would take care of all of that so if anything happens with him he is fully covered and I wont have to worry!

I am not calling the ex today. He can call.. if he wants to see them. I will play dumb dumb prego women!

Don't worry! You are indeed pregnant, the clinic ones read at a higher level of HCG so that it is in fact positive when they tell you and not just a chemical pregnancy or whatever. Don't worry. I know, easier said then done.

Kim, that sounds like a good idea! If I was you, I would call membership services after you receive the new card from him with the number on it and verify that he will be double covered now just so you don't get screwed on a bill down the road.

yup! cover my butt all the way around! I plan on calling them on monday too about my coverage in general what will happen if I have a c-section and all. I dont know what 500 per person 6000 max out of pocket means! Does this mean because we are on the family plan that is it is 500 per person for each of us and a max of 6000 or max of 6000 each. if I have a c-section they say it is 500 dollars a day in the hospital. we have already paid 250 as part of our deductable. So do I pay another 250 to meet my 500 or can it go all they way to 6000. I think that is a good thing to ask huh? LOL

Oh My! I am not sure. The plan I am on is where I pay $250/day I am in the hospital with a max of me paying $3000 for my stay. But I don't have to pay it when I check in, I will get a bill that I can make payments on. My plan is pretty expensive though because I refuse to pay a "deductible" amount so I pay a higher montly premium so that I have no deductible, just copays when I see the docs.

yeah.. I think the way it works is the individual counts toward the family but there is only so much an individual can pay out. So I would be 250.00 is what I am reading now on the website. Max of 3000. could they make it any more complicated?

This is that guy that I have been working with to be able to leave the boys with. He has gotten good enough that Randall and I have him watch the kids each Friday night for 4 hours. But this week we are having him do it tonight instead because of this bbq that we wanted to go to. And it can be spendy because I pay him $10/hour to watch two pretty low maintenance guys plus my daughter. And I will pay him an extra hour if he mops all of the floors for me but he doesn't always do that.
