Ok all, sorry to stay away a few days....I was helping my MIL get all her paperwork ready for the Licensing review. Yesterday I started up at 7am and didn't stop until midnight! Then drove home and baby made me eat again before going to sleep at 12:30 and having to be up ike normal at 5am. So the licenser shows up late, at 10:15, and then the meeting took 3 hours! It went perfectly though with no violations and a perfect review. Yippee! No that is done for another year for that house. The one for this house is 8 months out so I have some breathing room now.

I am now officially in uncharted territory and am farther along then I made it with Elizabeth. But I am having some swelling in my lower legs. I didn't realize it until I was kneeling on the edge of something with one leg so my back wouldn't hurt while I was feeding one of the boys and when I took my leg down I saw the indentations. I checked my BP and have been watching it closely the last few days and it is staying around 128/82 area. Occasionally the bp reading says 138/84 or 184/85 but if I retake it immediately then it says around 128/82 or less. So I called the advice nurse and emailed me doc who was out of town. The advice nurse took the info and spoke to the on call doc and he wants to cover his ass so he wants me to come in for a blood test that checks for preeclampsia. This was last night. Said it wasn't vital that it was last night, I could come in on Thursday or Friday but don't wait too long. And too watch my salt, make sure I drink a minimum of 2 liters of water and elevate my legs a lot. So intended to go in today but the licenser and then I fell asleep. When I woke up it was 5pm and we were gonna head in because the lab is open til 8pm but then I saw an email from my doc, not the oncall, and her email says that she wants me to stop by the clinic for a BP check and a urine dipstick along with her ordering me a 24 hour urine on top of the blood work the on call ordered. The problem is the clinic closed at 5pm. So I will go in tomorrow. Elizabeth's preschool is doing a Mothers Day tea Party for us so I have to do that first. Then I will drop her off with the sitter while I run to the clinic and then get home for the boys. I know it sounds like I am procrastinating getting the labs done and all but I am mildly panicky that this is gonna fall in the same path that I had before and I am freaking out about it. The advice nurse says that as long as the swelling stays below my knees then it is likely normal pregnancy swelling but I can't tell if I am swelling anywhere else because I am so over weight that I am pretty fatty under the skin and it is hard to tell about swelling.

I can't believe Natalie's water broke! Yay! Hopefully she has an easy labor!

Angella, have you read your own posts? You are busier than most of us on here. You totally need to take it easy on yourself!! Please reassure us that you are going to relax this weekend and let things simmer down. I know you have a lot on your plate, but you are going to make yourself deliver early again, and you've gotta keep little Temperance in there for a few more weeks!!

Good luck tomorrow, I hope everything goes well with your lab work and BP!

Good night girls, I am up way past my bedtime, and lot's of stuff to do tomorrow! TTYL!

I apologize if that sounds weird and creepy...lol. I was am so happy to see Melissa2's babies doing well, and even went as far to add her to my myspace. Congrats mama! And Congrats are also in order for Natalie, may she have an easy and quick delivery. Kim, your little one will be here before you even know it. Thank you all for bringing so much hope into my life. You are all within my hearts and God bless you all!

I have never not been busy so sitting at home and doing nothing is really hard for me to do! I have every intention to try to take things easier for the rest of the pregnancy but unfortunatly life goes on and the boys still need caring for and there is only so much that I can delegate to others to do. It just bites that this is going on in the first place. For all we know though, this is just normal pregnancy swelling and not preeclampsia stuff. I just wish that us preggies didn't have to go thru so damn much!

Angella- Take it easy!!!!!! also I'm glad you've made it farther along this time! I have a foster-home question for you.... how much do you have to go through to become a fostering home? I'm not interested myself b/c I don't think we have the lifestyle for it, but I know someone interested, and am curious.... if thats too vague of a question then I understand!

It is a painthe freaking ass! You contact the local county office of Children and Family Services or Childrens Services, whatever your state calls it and tell them that you are interested and they will tell you what you have to do. Each state has different requirements. Oregon has you take a 6 week class, one night a week, and then you have a home inspection where you have to have all these facility requirements that you have to meet such as room size, smoke detectors, etc. Then once they certify you, you wait for kids. But you will always end up getting asked to take kids outside of your preference range. And you should be prepared to live the realization that ALL children who are in state custody have been thru something or other, neglect, abuse, seen way too much, etc and will have emotional issues. I have just never heard of one that didn't.

Aday... I know what you mean about being pampered by nurses. It's kind of fun being in the hospital... although in pain, it's nice having someone wait on you... not so nice having them come in every two hours when your trying to sleep!
