NEW FACEBOOK UPDATE (earn free points beta-testers!)

We've just now gone live w/ the first of a series of Facebook integration features:

1) you can choose to connect your BG account to FB for automatic login to our site whenever you're logged into FB.

2) as a bonus for helping us test out the feature: you'll get free points for connecting! if you're confused about what the points are you haven't yet signed up to our beta test -- and you can find out more and opt in here: advanced features beta group (which is where you'll find the account connection option).

3) if you decide to connect your account, you can opt to share/post to your FB wall whenever you want. specifically, whenever you post a topic/contest/poll, you'll have the option to post it to your FB as you post it here. (it's just a little checkbox that says "share with my Facebook")

for example, I've chosen to post THIS topic to my FB wall, effectively letting everyone in my FB know about what i've just posted here (linking them here, giving them the chance to reply and/or join).

once again: if you want to connect your accounts and get the points just opt into the beta group and you'll get the option to connect to FB.

Are you planning on syncing twitter or myspace as well? I won't be linking my facebook to BG, to many weirdos

I have been keeping BG a secret from people that I know IRL, and I plan to keep it that way.

I just connected them and then it immediately logged me out of bg because it said i wasn't on facebook

but its great to know that there is an option to share it on FB.but other than that, I dont think anyone knows i am on BG.

So what does connecting with facebook really do? I kinda like the anonymity of my BG life. Not sure that I want it on facebook, kwim? If I choose to connect with face book, will all my irl friends be able to easily find me and my posts on BG?
