Mara,i connected BG to facebook and i didnt see the option that everyone keeps saying.The option that says"i already have a BG" How do i delete or if i can the NEW BG that was made and reconnct to my BG i use now?

I HATE it! Now I have to figure out how to "unconnect" them. I hate that when you log out of one it logs you out of the other.

If you're desperate to stop the auto-login you can go into Facebook -> Account Settings -> Application Settings and hit the delete button for the Baby Gaga application. Make sure you've set your password in BG before you do that or you'll have to get a password reminder to log in. It will unfortunately also stop all the BG Facebook features from working... unless you log in with Facebook again on BG and grant access to the app again - at that point the auto-login will start working.

I figured the auto-login would be easier to use for most people who use both sites. When you start surfing, log in on either and you won't have to do it twice. When you're done surfing just hit logout on either site and you'll be logged out of both.

The alternative is for every Facebook related thing on BG to pop up a login box before letting you use it - that's a pain in the neck and you probably wouldn't even remember you had to go to Facebook to log out of their site afterwards.

I'm working on making some changes so that it doesn't auto-log you out. It should provide for a smoother experience, and to log out you would just click the logout button on BG as per usual.

Does it automatically post to your FB now?

I just started a new topic, and I didn't click the button but it showed up on my FB wall.

it's default setting currently is to do it to FB + BG, you have to go into your privacy settings in your "my account" and turn it off.

I would but I already feel like my privacy has been invaded on FB by my family and in-laws. I come to BG to get away from them!! Sorry.

I wasn't being ugly. I was just saying that I don't think everyone will do it. People get pretty ugly on here and cuss and are rude. I just don't think they want family members seing all the bad stuff they say.

I have a lot of nosey family and friends so they will see that I am on a different website (BG) so they will check the website out, most likely sign up, and then try and track me down to see what I have said and done. A lot of my friends and enemies are like that. Damn they love me. lol.

Hey all,

A heads up for all that connected BG with Facebook. I've now updated the login so that it no longer synchronizes to facebook's login/logout status. Instead, you go to the "log in" page and either click on "login with facebook" or entering your BG email/pass. To logout, go to the "logout" tab and it will log you out of BG only.

This way, you can use FB to simplify your login on BG, but you'll stay logged in at BG until you tell us you want to log out ;)

The FB sharing features will be turned on/off depending on whether you are logged in at FB or not. So if you feel like sharing a post or topic, make sure you're logged in at FB and then you'll see the share options show up on here when posting.
