Flying with a 15 month old.

How hard is it to fly with a 15 month old? We are going from seattle to pittsburgh when he will be 15 months old. I took him when he was 4 months and also when he was 8 months and he slept a lot, but now he only takes one 2 hour nap if that, so hmmm what should i do, plus he is a walker. we have a 4 hour and a 3 hour flight.
any ideas? is it really that bad? i got a window seat so he can peer out there instead of want down and walk all the time.

Try to make it late at night so he can sleep the entire time. I did a window seat, I put a video on my iPod for her and some new and exciting toys. Lots of snacks too. I've never done a 4 or a 3 hour flight but I've done some two hour ones alone.

i have flown about every two months since my son was 6 weeks old. the trip i took at 15 months was the worst out of all of them. are you going to be by yourself?

i didn't wanna do an overnight cuz i can't sleep overnight on planes so i made it from 9am and we get their at 6pm

ooh, you're going to be busy, take some caffeine haha. Can someone fly with you? What about a portable dvd player?

For me that was the hardest trip because a 15 month old wants to walk around a lot but doesn't quite understand that he can't.

Take lots of new toys, try to plan it during nap time, lots of snacks. Have books to read to him. If you have an ipod or laptop or something that plays videos, try to have some ready for him with some earphones. Coloring books or some sort of magnadoodle or aquadoodle is a good idea. A blankie in case it's chilly. I sometimes let my son stand up in my between my legs just so that he gets the illusion of being mobile but isn't really and we play hand clapping games or something while he's standing there.
