Has anyone else had their cervix cauterized?

Ok so on Tuesday morning I had to have my cervix in one spot cauterized cause it is irritated and has been fot 6 weeks and causes me to spot every once in a while. They did an ultrasound and the baby was so active flipping all over the place with a strong heartbeat and all. Well they never told me what the side effects of it were. And Tues. night I passed grey chunky discharge (TMI)   and kept having brownish/grayish discharge all day yesteday and last night it turned kinda orangish. Has anyone had this done before? My poor nurse is going to hate me cause I call her every morning freaking out!! hehe

Oh I forget to mention that tyhe nurse said the grayish/brownish discharge is normal just as it is not bright red.
