this thread convinced me to sign up lol just wanted to share my story

I had unprotected sex in October and took a pregnancy test that came out negative. My period came shortly after and all was well... Until the next week I started throwing up and feel nauseous all the time. I didn't think anything of it because I was getting my periods and I had that negative test but then January my period was 4 days late and it came pink one day, nothing the next day then everything the day after (weird i kno) it only lasted 3 days instead of 6. I went to the doctor because I swore I felt movement in my tummy and he just laughed in my face about being pregnant and it turns out it was a phantom pregnancy. If you think you're pregnant, don't freak out just wait a bit

And just to address this bleeding during pregnancy sometimes you may have decidual bleeding where the placenta isn't fully attached s your uterus lining will shed like your normal period

If I had only been on the pill for 8 days, and had taken it late a few days, did it stop working or am I protected against pregnancy?
I started on the 14th, and ended on the 22nd. I had unprotected sex on the 16th, and the 25th of this month a total of 5 times.

My doctor said that the time I took it it wasn't effective at all though, so would I still have a pretty high chance of pregnancy?
I was only on it for 8 days so I don't really know. I mean the second time I wasn't on it at all and we had sex and he came inside me twice. (I know stupid)

yes you are indeed very fertile off of the pill, my first child was concieved bc i couldnt remember to take my pill so id miss a day every now and then. it takes a full month of straight pills before you are protected with them even if you do take them every day

I have the ''am i pregnant?'' question as well. My boyfriend and i had sex for like 5 minutes(told him to stop because i was worried) I am on birth control(been on it for about 2 months) and we used a condom but he came in the condom before we had sex. could i get pregnant? the condom didnt break and his shaft wasnt wet like it was spilling out. the condom was tight and i was holding it in place. so could i be pregnant? we were both virgins (he didnt break my hymen though)

GIRL! if he came in the condom before u had sex and didnt have sex then theres no way possible u can be pregnant and if ur on bc and u used the condom right...y are u worried? hoe long ago was it?

Honestly I can relate to all these teens asking this question Am I Pregnant? As I went through some of which these replies are talking about. In fact here is my story (if you wish to read it) Ok so my boyfriend and I were sexually active back in |the beginning of December (I will point out that I did not have a regular period nor was I on birth control I could go 2 or 3 months with out a period and not be prenant) January had came around and I was starting to worry because my period never came in December and had not shown up in January. so I waited till about the date that I would think that my period should have came and with no sign of it me and my boyfriend started asking the famous question Am I Pregnant??? so we planned to get a test that weekend and get ready for the answer. When I took the test I got one solid line and the second line was barely even noticeable so I thought at first that the test was just messed up and I apparently did something wrong... so we waited a couple days and I took the test again and got the same result. I then said ok this cant be right but it then turned out after talking with my mom and getting a test at the doctors office I was in fact about 7 weeks Pregnant. I will be one to say that I am almost 23 weeks and have not had any Pregnancy sickness at all and the only sign of pregnancy I had was a 2 missed periods.

Random- I enjoy watching my little girl squirm around and kick in my belly. However I don't quite think I enjoy the times where she pushes against the front of my belly and makes a hard lump... It tends to hurt and when she kicks my bladder...

I believe the earliest you should be feeling movement is at approximately 16 weeks and that's if you've been pregnant before. Or if you're just really in tune with your body. Typically women who are pregnant for the first time don't feel it til about 18 weeks. But I anticipated my baby moving and felt him around 16-17 weeks. But their bones don't begin to harden until week 18. It's also common not to feel movement until week 21 so don't freak. But most likely it is just gas. I'm pregnant with my first and I felt him move pretty early. It felt like twitching on my left side but eventually it got stronger so I knew it had to be him. I knew I was pregnant before I tooka test at 5 weeks. My boobs were tender which didn't normally occur when I started my periods. I had dull cramping the first 2-3 days of every week. I didn't have morning sickness until my 2-3 month but it didn't last into my 2nd trimester. Also, I was exhausted a lot and found myself taking naps. Of course we didn't use any form of birth control so that was a dead give away   oh and noticing frequent urination as early as 3-4 weeks is normal as well

A parents disappointment DOES NOT MATTER. I'm not saying abortion is the right thing, I don't support it at all. But my dad wasn't too happy about me being preggo. Of course I was 18 at th beginning of my pregnancy, but my mom and my sister were stoked. My parents are divorced and I live with my mom atm and my papaw gave my dad hell bc he thought my dad should have prevented it. But honestly you can't prevent anyone from having sex, you can only teach them to use protection. It's not the baby's fault you didn't use birth control or a condom. If you still don't think you're responsible enough ( if you are indeed pregnant) then wait it out and if you don't want your child, ADOPTION NOT ABORTION is the answer   someone else will find a blessing in your baby if you don't. But it's about YOU not your parents!

It's not a "period" but some women do bleed or spot, around the normal time of month their periods usually occur, during and sometimes throughout pregnancy. It's not common, but few women in my family including my mother had that problem. I don't fortunately, I don't miss the bleeding at all lol

The 2nd "period" was probably the implantation of the fetus.

Sorry I'm so behind on all of this lol I don't get on here or post much. When Elijah's mom was saying something about the abortion I didn't realize it was last march she was referring to. It took a few seconds to find the date when she actually posted that lol that's why I thought she was early. But I'm using an iPod and the dates are a very light gray color lol sorry I made myself look a bit stupid :p

Keep in mind, your body can tell your pregnant before a pregnancy test can. When I took my test back in December, the line that shows the hcg hormone appeared before the other line did and it was dark. But boldness or faintness of that line doesn't matter. If you see 2 lines at all you're preggo   I went to the local health department to confirm my pregnancy ( they used an at home type test too) and the line was faint. Contgrats to all new preggies and new mommies

I have a question. If you have two periods in one month should you have two the next month too? The reason I'm asking this is cause I had a period April 11-17 and then I had another (random) one April 25-29. My period tracker said I should have had one May 13 and May 23. It is now May 22 and I still haven't started. I took a test May 18th and it said - but it kinda looked like a + but the | part was very light I had to hold it side ways to see it and it didn't go straight down. ? It's confusing. Is this 2 periods in one month and then so far no period normal?
