I'm thinking of switching to the shot though, but I've heard quite a few girls get pregnant on the shot. Have you heard that? Like I only asked because right now I'm on Seasonique that I take every day and never miss a pill andwe use the 'pull out' method, but I only see him once a week. Which, I know you can get pregnant the first time, but I was just curious =]

Aha I see
Well, if I were you and I didn't want to conceive,
I would use a condom instead of the pull-out method!
There's always pre-cum and he might accidentally ejaculate inside you on accident!

Yeah, I know. Pulling out isn't the most responsible thing especially since he isn't sure he wants kids, ever. However, I'm on birth control that I take every single day, but I know where you are coming from. I had a scare about a month ago and I swore I was pregnant, I just felt different, and it came up negative. It just taught me thatI need to be more careful though.

Yeah, wait until you guys are ready!
I am 18 and 100% ready, but we lost our baby at 5 weeks,
so its a sign from God for us to wait!

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. I'll be 18 next month and so will he, we're only a week apart and ever since then, we've talked about 'what if' it would happen. When I told him I was having doubts that I could be pregnant, he went and researched my symptoms lol. I thought it was kind of cute, but that's cool that you're so young and ready. I wish you the best!

My best friend has been on the shot one for over a year now and has not gotten pregnant. The thing is u are not supposed to rub where they give u the shot bc if u do u bust all the things that arent supposed to pop till a certain time in the month so that could mess it all up and u could possibly get pregnant, but as long as u listen to ur Dr. and keep getting the shots u should be fine.

I wouldn't get the shot. I've heard horrible things about it. No one i know likes it. A lot of people get pregnant on it and most get bad symptoms. Not saying ALL do but i just wouldn't take the chance.
It's up to you tho.
If you KNOW you don't want kids right now then you should get an IUD or Implanon or something. It prevents pregnancy for up to 3 years and you don't have to worry about taking a pill or getting a shot. You can take it out before 3 years also if you end up changing your mind. That's what i'm getting - Implanon.

An IUD goes in your uterus.
It's different for everybody. I've heard of girls who don't get their period at all, some only sometimes and some get it a lot.
Implanon goes in the skin under your arm. Periods for that is also different for everyone. I personally think it would be better than any other birth control tho.

Lol
I'd rather have something in my arm than something in my uterus. I don't know why. Haha
