Thank you for sharing that and I am sorry for your loss. Before I attempt anything I am going to discuss this matter with my doctor tomorrow. He has been my doctor for 25 years, so I know he will tell me exactly what he thinks. If he says it's too risky, then we'll discuss other methods. I also know my doctor very well and I'm almost positive that he'll send us to counseling before making any final decision. I also know that most, if not all, abortion clinics make you take a counseling course beforehand as well. I am hoping that will make whichever choice we choose easier.

I hope so although I don't think any choice will be easy. I just know from MY miscarriage it was a horrible nightmare. Not because of it happening but how it happened. No one told me what to expect. I had two narcotic scripts filled after because the pain was so bad. With my 2 live births I never even had to take a tylenol.

That just sounds so dumb. Take the abortion pill. I think it's better than sticking parsley in places where the sun don't shine.

There is no need to be so rude.

You read it yourself. That is precisely the intention of the article. You can't assume anyone with even one braincell would do that.

I am not going to argue on this thread, this lady is simply asking for help.
If you read her other post perhaps you would not be so rude, especially when she has been faced with such a difficult situation.
She was asking for advice, not to be insulted over her intelligence (and intelligent she clearly is).
Not sure what you mean by 'article'.

I'm not insulting her, for heaven's sake. The article on the website. Read it. It's almost comical.

Inducing a miscarriage is clearly silly and irresponsible this way. Obviously if you're going to have an abortion, just have one. It's a much better idea than sticking herbs up where it doesn't need to be nor is it safe!

I didn't find it comical.

Because you are new I'll explain: this part of the forum isn't for name calling, rudeness, or a self righteous attitude.
It is a safe place to discuss abortion without ridicule or whether someone is 'silly and irresponsible'.

Sorry OP.

THIS IS NOT ABORTION WE ARE DISCUSSING. THIS IS SELF INDUCED MISCARRIAGE. YES SELF INDUCED MISCARRIAGE IS IRRESPONSIBLE AND DANGEROUS WHEREAS THE RESPONSIBLE SENSIBLE THING TO DO WOULD BE TO GET AN ABORTION.

END OF CONVERSATION

I NEVER SAID SHE WAS SILLY AND IRRESPONSIBLE. WHAT THE ARTICLE ON THE WEBSITE SAID TO DO WAS SILLY AND IRRESPONSIBLE AND IN NO WAY HAS TO DO WITH A REAL ABORTION.

I did a bunch of research on this and the one thing that I found to be consistent was that of the people who had successfully "miscarried", most hadn't had a positive pregnancy test. Of those who had had a positive pregnancy test, the results were probably as low as the natural miscarriage rate. The parsley probably won't do anything, but I've taken large amounts of vitamin C before, and that might make you sick; I found that I didn't clot well when I was taking it (and I was taking much lower doses than they recommend). All in all, I concluded that it wasn't worth trying because it probably wouldn't work. Good luck. I know how upsetting unplanned pregnancies are.
