oh she was worth going overdue... if I had my time back they wouldn't have induced me either!! I would have just waited for her to come on her own!!

she's doing ok (touch wood) ... the last two nights she's slept most of the night... waking up just twice for a diaper change/feeding... but yesterday I spent the day in tears!! She must have had gas and she cried and cried and cried... the ONLY thing to calm her down was being on the boob!! we tried gripe water.. NOTHING... we tried infancol (similar to gripe water) it worked for about 1.5 hrs.. then she was screaming again .. finally a friend called and told me to try warm sugar water.. it worked!! it brought the gas right up... she's doing much better today though   (knocks on wood)

That's just crazy that all of us at the beginning of the month went early and most of you at the middle-end of the month are going overdue. Hope she decides to come soon for you...start jumping around as you walk maybe that will lodge her down.

So I just got home from the hospital bc "it's not time" GRRR!!
I have been contracting for 2 days and tonight I timed them for 3.5hrs at 5min apart so I went to L&D. They hook me up and they only show every 8 min and I havent dialated anymore since Tue!!! WTF!! How?
Of course my doc is gonna tell the nurse to send me home to "relax" until they get closer and stronger bc it's 4th of July and she isn't gonna wanna come in.
Anyway, Im home and maybe I will end up back in L&D tonight or tmrw. If im lucky...Sorry for the rant.

OMG!! I'm so sorry you had to go through all that!! Don't worry I'm sure you still be able to have kids, you just may have to take it easy the next pregnancy.

i'm up. its 7 am, no sleep. i'm feelin pissy   lupus, fibro and woundvac making me not sleep   i have to be somewhere at nine. I feel like i hate the world. i don't know how i will make it through this f****** day.

I just changed hannahs diaper and now she went poo   I think I'm over reacting because i am so TIRED. I am watching hubby sleep. bastard. it isn't his fault there is nothing he can do to help  

Sherisse, no worries. take it one day at a time about the cervix thing. i'm just glad that you and leah are okay and doing well. did you decide to breastfeed or do formula? I can't remember which one you picked.

I'm breastfeeding... it seems to be going good.. I'm constantly worried that she's not getting enough... b/c I can't see it like you can ina bottle.. I know there is some milk there b/c even after she feeds I squeeze my boob and milk goes squirting everywhere....she gained 3 ozs from Saturday to Wednesday... and she's got lots of poopy/pee diapers... (I hear ya on just getting her changed and she poops/pees again!! Stacey went through 5 diapers in one changing a couple of nights ago!!   )... so I guess she's doing ok...I'm taking her to get weighed agained on Monday... so if she's still gaining I"ll break out the pump and start building up a freezer supply ...   that way nanny and poppy can babysit from time to time  

OH!! I forgot to tell you girls!! We ended up putting in an offer on a house that was accepted!! We have to make our way to the bank to get a mortgage ... so fingers crossed that goes well!! It's only a small bungalow ... three small bedrooms on the main floor ... unfinished basement ... there is a lot of work I'll want to do on it over a couple of years... first thing is I'd want to knock out the wall between the kitchen and dining room... K is too small.. and we're not formal enough to want/need a dining room... we've always had eat-in kitchens.. so that'd be one of the first things I'd do ... but .. lets wait to make sure we get the mortgage first  

anyways ladies.. that's all on this front... Leah slept well again last night .. only waking every 5 hours for the boob ... I was really afraid b/c she was fussy from about 6 to 12 last night... but from 12 on she was great... I pray she stays as good!!
