We are the same way! The pack-n-play/bassinet was finally delivered so that is ready to get us started. There are so many unfinished projects in the nursery....and no time (Joe) or energy (me)to do those.   I am hoping for a huge burst of NESTING energy like you have had! I could really use it about now...!      

oh I realized that I don't have anyone to contact if she does readmit me hospital. but my computer bag is on the list of things for hubby to bring back if she does. I'm not sure if there's internet access there or not, but I'll try to let you guys know somehow when things do start happening

Lol I would gladly take them if it meant getting this lil man out! I am gonna play the pitty card with my doctor tomorrow and see if she will help me. My belly is getting a lot smaller so I assume that means that he is dropping further. I have felt different ever since I went on that long walk yesterday. I'm gonna try and walk tonite and see if I can get him to go any further. That is just crazy how you're having all these horrible contractions, but not much of anything else and I am having the complete opposite problem!

OK...I know we have talked about this before...but I am still not sure and am wondering about the types of bottles that fit the Medela breastpump (I have the Medela Pump in Style)...


So far, I know the following will fit:

Dr. Brown's (standard)
Medela
Evenflow (standard)

Please let me know of any others.... Has anyone tried the Dr. Brown's wide neck?

mel hmm... the 3rd and the 18th... I'd rather the 3rd myself... hubby'd rather the 18th I'm sure (he'll be off for the summer starting the 28th)

I have a question for you ladies that have had the BH - is it basically your stomache getting really, really hard and uncomfortable? I have been having these moments this weekend, usually when I am sitting up straight, not reclining, where my whole belly gets REALLY hard..it doesn't give at all! It doesn't hurt whatsoever, but its uncomfortable to move when its like that. Since I havent had anything like that this pregnancy, I'm assuming its just Braxton-Hicks, but the websites don't really tell you anything other than "they are false contractions." Great advice for those of us that don't even know what REAL contractions feel like. lol

He's been fully engaged now for over a week... I'm pretty sure he's been therre at least two weeks. But last monday she could feel him pushing on the cervix, and the L&D nurse said she could touch his head when she checked me... I'm just refusing to dilate for whatever reason.

I'm going to beg her to do SOMETHING this go around... either induce, stop the contractions or drug me so I can get some rest

Hmmm I dunno... I would like to know though b/c I get a similar thing... mine aren't the entire tummy though... so I think it might just be baby putting A LOT of pressure on me...   can BHs happen in only 1/2 your tummy?? anybody??

I have some of the wide neck ones...they do for sure work on the pump. That's what I forgot to do this weekend...dang it! I was gonna get my pump out and learn how to use it and see if I need to buy shields for it or anything else.

Mine is definately more prominent on the top half of my belly...I just assumed that its because I carry a little flab at the bottom that has absolutely nothing to do with my uterus! lol

That is what I have experienced. No pain, just a tightening (sometime tingling) sensation. Belly gets very hard for a minute or two...and then it passes. Sometimes it seems to move from front to back also...? Dr. assured me that it was BH since no other progress whatsoever....?!  

Good morning mommies! I feel like crap today. I'm a little nauseated and my almost constipation has become almost diarrhea overnight. I'm eating all the same foods and I haven't been around anyone sick so that's weird.

Jenn- Shower pics were great (I agree, your ankles looked great!) and you got so much!

Ash- The nursery looks great!

PA- You should get one of our numbers so you can text us!

Most of mine start at the top and work their way down.... and the weaker ones don't always make it lower. When they make it they hurt...
