Don't bring that in here. We are here for support.   Oh and I think I do have something on your son (or however you put it) Kadence was also born at 24 weeks wieghing the same as your son. She dropped down to 15 oz before she gained any weight. This is not a competion. All the ladies in here have been through alot. I spent the first 7 months of my daughters life by her hospital bed. So yeah try again.

P.S I am so glad everyones babies are doing so well! They are all miracles!

WTG Meghan..........All these babies rawk and this is not a pissing contest.

My Andrew was born at 33 weeks. He was 5 lbs and 17 inches long. He is now 6 months and weights in at 16 lbs and 26 inches long. We had a lotof bumps his first 3 months but we made it thru and he is doing wonderful now.

Dante was born May 15th 2007 and 25weeks....He was 2lbs 13in long when he was born....And dropped down to 1lb 10oz...He is now a wapping 18lbs....And 25inches long and 8 months....almost 5 months corrected age

My daughter is concidered a preemie at 36 weeks born she was 6 pounds and 4 oz but now weighs 5 pounds 10 oz she is 18 inchs long!. She was born Jan 25th 2008.
She is still in the NICU because she was having lung problems and her heart rate goes down every once in a while

Wow! Technology and medicine has come a long way. So, so amazing to hear of some of your extremely early births and fragile birth weights and yet your babies are all doing well. I had a premmie 11 years ago at 35 weeks due to pre eclampsia. He was 5lb 8oz but had to spend a month in hospital due to having no sucking reflex. So he was tube fed for that month until the sucking was "developed". He had a few issues with temp control to begin with but that wasn't a problem for long. He had gross delays in muscle control (finally sat at 14 months!) but looking back we worried about so many things and in the end he got there. Tomorrow he is very excited to be off to school to begin grade 5. He is very little still but apparently my 6ft 1 husband was exactly the same until he was 15. Keep your chins up premmie mums. It can be hard work and worry but the strength always seems to come when you need it. xxx

What amazing babies!

My daughter, a 28 weeker is now 2 years old, 27 lbs and 38 inches tall  ! Talk about growing!

My son, a 30 weeker is now 7 weeks old, 7lbs and 21in!

Wow thats great Leah was also 1 lbs 3 oz and born at 24 weeks and quoting what someone else put my girl also has a shunt but ALL these babies ae special and we are ALL going through DIFFERENT things maybe some people don't understand that concept. We are all blessed!

I posted here before, but it was when they were maybe 1 or 2 months old. They were born at 36 weeks so almost at term. They weighed 5.9 , 19" and 5.5 , 18.75"
Now they are 4 months and weigh in at 17.9 and 24" and 16.12, also 24"... Almost normal size I guess lol!!!

They are beautiful!

MY baby girl was born on February 14th 2007. She was born at 33 weeks to the day. She was 4 pounds 4 ounces, 16 incehes long. I had her COMPLETELY natural. No epidural. I was in labor for 6 hours. I was due April 1st. She stayed in the hospital for exactly 2 weeks & she came home VERY healthy. She was of course very thin. weighing only 5 pounds at 2 weeks of life, but she was the same as any other baby. She could already pick her head up the day she was born & she grip things like daddy's fingers. Now the year is coming back around. Valentine's Day is in 13 days & it will be her first birthday. Little Joselyn is about 22 pounds & 27 inches long. She came a long way from being tiny. She is now our little Gordita. She has quite a cute lil belly on her. She's crawling around & getting into EVERYTHING. Almost walking. Her record is two steps so far.. that she has taken alone.

Ethan was born 30th of July at 35 weeks and some odd days; he weighed 5 lbs 4 oz and dropped down to a lil over 4 when we came home.

now at 6 months he weighs a wopping 18 lbs!
