I was kinda bummed because I had recently lost about 30lbs. and was trying to lose more for my wedding that I was planning in March of 2008. When I had my first visit with my midwife she was very very nice and did not make me uncomfortable at all about my weight. I meet my surgeon next week and will continue with her as I will have a c-section. I get most of my clothes from Layne and Bryant and will probably get most of my maternity clothes from there. Avenue has some cute things though.
Just curious as to why you are having a c-section. Is it because of your weight at all? My r. really hasn't said anything about the delivery yet as I am only 24weeks but I am terrified they are just going to automatically say "you need a c-section".

I am having a c-section because that is what I had with my first. I figure that it is just safer to do it again. They are not as bad and scarey as everyone makes it seem. I was ok about 2-3 weeks later. My first was an emergency c-section, they could not get a good read on her heart rate and when they did it was low. Since I was only at about 5 they decided it was too risky to wait. I am glad they did what was best for my baby. Now I have a healthy four year old going on 15

After having my son I weighed 213 and then back in July my highest of 240, I started to diet and am now down to 210 and I was feeling good and just happen to decide to get a test because I was a week late, which isn't rare and when I do buy them I will start that day or the day after, but this time it came out positive and I started to freak out a little. I was angry because I have worked out so hard to lose weight and now I am going to be having another baby. I.
