re: Plus Size & Pregers

Oh.. I go back Tuesday for an ultrasound to check on the baby and a follow up appointment if I'm still pregnant.. Hopefully he decides to come out before then... I feel like such a wimp everytime I hafta get out of bed cuz the pressure down there is so bad that I can barely walk.. It subsides to a more bearable level after I walk around for a bit but those first few minutes suck.. That is with a fairly good pain tolerance too.. Safe to say that pregnancy kicks every woman's behind I guess...  

Ok so I had to let everyone know my happy news!!!I FINALLY GOT BANANA PUDDING!!!!!!! =) Actually I made it myself. Yay!!!!

LoL, about damn time! haha. I hadn't thought about banana cream pie all day....   I still want that.

I am plus-sized, just had a baby in January and found out we're expecting again on Mother's day! Very shocked but also very excited! I can't believe I'm going to have to have 2 c-sections in 1 year! My two will be 11 months apart - I'm due Dec. 28.

When I was pregnant the first time, I found a lot of clothes at Motherhood and JCPenney catalog. The stores at JCP said they don't carry plus-size maternity in the stores - just online. They looked great, though. I also found some on Ebay, believe it or not!

I only gained 18 pounds during my first pregnancy, and I lost 35 within 2-3 weeks of having her (yea!).....HOWEVER....I've already gained back 4 pounds, and I'm only 7 1/2 weeks along!!!!!

Honey I'm 9 weeks and have gained 15 lbs, but I lost 5 of that from morning sickness. I just hope I don't blow up like a blimp!

So I get period like cramps all the time. Is that normal?

Ugh. It's officially my due date now. I'm going to attempt to be optimistic and pretend that's he's just waiting to born today so he could be one of the ones actually born on their due date...  

I too am a plus sized pregnant woman. I actually am the same starting weight with my second that I was with my first. I only gained 31 pounds with my first, but there was NO way escaping the fact that I look pregnant, now it took a while for the rolls to form in to one and make me look pregnant, but I will never get to wear those low slung pants. Even with my first, I still had extra fat on my low belly. I somehow was under the impression that as I got bigger during my pregnancy that all of that would stretch out, but not the way it happened. I found most of my clothes at Motherhood. A few things at JCP, but only tops.

Exciting news!!!!! yesterday i had a doctors appointment and because im still spilling protein and my blood pressure is still pushing on the high side my doctor plans on inducing me on wednesday!!!!!! YaY!!!!! i have to have another sono on monday to check the size again but hopefully by next weekend i'll be a mommy woo hoo!!!!!! kinda excited kinda nervous lol Hope everyone else is well  )

It would be a lot more exciting if somethimg was actually happening... I'm hoping he'll be born this weekend but it's not looking too promising right now.. Then again.. Labor can come out of nowhere.. The only one that knows for sure is him and he's not talking.. Seems he's just as stubborn as his parents...  

Hi, I am also a plus size mom trying to conceive. I was 135 before I had my son. Let me tell you I looked good lol. But with him I gain 60lbs. When I had him I lost 11 but I gained all that back. Now I am 188lbs. I am starting to lose little bit of weight. I just wanted to post something because EVERYONE I kno are like real skinny and got real cute baby bumps. With my first one I had a cute baby bump. But I kno If I get pregnant this time I am just going to look fat!

ha ha exactly, sometimes i think i was born in the wrong era and would have done good like back in the day when they gave birth at home. I just am afraid to do anything like that and now being high risk i kind of get jipted out of some things. Although I do like the epi being in the waiting. I am only 13 1/2 wks, but i have been thinking about the birth. I think i may want to try to go with out the epi, or atleast till the end, only because i do not want the catheter to soon, and i want to be able to walk around, i even toyed with the idea of a water birth, but that can't happen now. Also i don't think my dr is into all that, i asked the nurse practicioner about a birth plan, when do i have to get it to them, and she said they don't do that, that the dr doesn't follow it anyway because he does what he feels is the best for me. Not sure if i like that answer.

i was told that i will have to be induced because i am on lovenox, so my due date is nov 19, not sure when they want to induce. Now here is something i have been thinking,   maybe i can do things at home that will cause a natural inducement. u hem. like something i am forbidden to do since 6 wks. lol. i will look into that, because i heard that inducement is stronger labor, also i do not want it to be a c section just because, if it is an emergency then fine, but not just because, and i have not gotten a straight answer from my dr. By the way if he was not one of the best high risk dr's i would probably not be with him lol.

Ugh I am miserable!! I have had hardly ANY swelling this whole time but yesterday afternoon my ankles started getting really swollen and my lower legs feel really tight if I press on them, and then I noticed my fingers felt the same way! In the middle of the night when I got up to pee I had to take my wedding ring off because it hurt, it felt like it was cutting into my skin. I'm going to cry if I can't put it back on...my hands have never swollen!   Also where i'm swollen, my joints hurt! What the heck?! I'm hoping its just beacuse its hot out...
