at least u ladies dont have to deal with this all the time... i LIVE with my bf's mom and i want to curse her out all the f***ing time! she's constantly telling me what to do with my son every day, forces his binky in his mouth whenever she sees him... and she always lets her dog right in his face! both me and my bf are telling her whenever she holds him not to let her mutt near him, but she doesnt listen, always tells us "he just wants to see the baby".... i dont freakin care, i dont want ur mutt near my son...... and she acts like she doesnt know his name most of the time, still calls him "it" like he has no penis..... oh, and just a couple weeks ago, had a very uncomfortable conversation with her about birth control... if i want another baby, leave me alone... just because u made ur mistakes by having ur kids at 14, 15, 16, etc... doesnt mean i need to hear about it and any kids i may have are gonna be mistakes......
i think my bf wants to start trying to baby #2 by the end of the year tho... he's been talking about it lately, and i told him ok, if u wanna start trying again, AT LEAST let it be after his 21st birthday next month cuz i wanna celebrate with him w/o having to have virgin daquiries (sp)

sorry, i needed to vent and u ladies are all i really have............. oh and i forgot, shes always calling him HER baby.. im sorry, but u did not have anything to do with the conception of my son.... hell she didnt even agree with me being pregnant when we first told her... she was actually mad when she found out... didnt even really start to accept it until he was born... the only thing shes really happy about with him is that we named him after her husband who passed away last year..... maybe thats why she thinks of him as her baby

I think if I was you, and your having a hard time with your bf's mom I'd say you should get your own place before you start trying to find a dog, and start tying for baby #2. Because it only gets more expensive, and she is going to keep trying to tell you what to do as long as you guys are living with her. That will probably be the only way to be able to do what u want with out her trying to butt in.

When I got pregnant with Ethan, Brian and I had only been dateing for about 8months. But we knew we were going to get married, only we were planning on it being anther yr down the road. Well he never told his mom that we were that serious, he always just has been the one to keep things to himself.
Well when I got pregnant she was pissed off. Then when he told her that he really loved me and wanted to marry me, she said "are u sure you want to marry HER, she has student loans and other depts, you don't want to get in with ALL of that do u?!" She didn't start excepting Ethan until he was about to be born. I think alot of my recentment towards her is because of all of that.
NOW, she trys to be the mom and the wife of MY family, and we dont' even live with her.

i know we need to find our own place, but shes not mentally functional enough to be on her own, so my bf has been trying to get either his bro or sis up here (they live in ms) to take care of her so we can be on our own... but they're both hardheaded and wont come up here.... i wish they would tho cuz i miss walking around the house without worrying about her

Ugh, O.J. gives me heartburn just from looking at it! I think that's true with about all juices.   It's ok though, I don't typically drink juice because of the outragous amounts of sugar in them. One thing I love about Chicago is the abundance of Mexican Restaurants (restaurants in general).

Well there is going to have to be a point where he is going to have start thinking of his own family. Its not good for u all to be stressed out over things she does. Its not good for you relationshp either.

My husband and I fight over my MIL all the time, she just can't keep her damn nose out of things.

Same here, I can't drink them b/c of sugar.   Same goes with milk, Its so high in carbs I can only have so much a day.

Sorry to hear about your MIL, sounds dreadful. I think Jenny is right, but you gotta do what's right for you and your family.

well if we could get one of my bf's siblings up here to help her out and take care of her, then we would be able to move out... cuz he can afford a nice lil apartment for us.... around here we could find something for under 500, and for him, he could pay that with one check (paid every 2 weeks) plus still have extra money from that one check... i know we could be on our own, he just doesnt wanna leave his mom like this cuz she really cant take care of herself anymore.... i dunno if yall remember me saying this b4, but shes losing her mind... she doesnt remember shit that was told to her 5 mins ago.... shes losing her hearing and sight.... i'd feel kinda bad about leaving her alone, but at the same time, we need to be just us and cedric... we cant keep living here

What about assitant living? or having a nurse or helper come by the house to help her out? I don't know what kind of insurance she has but alot of time u can get help for that ($ wise).

she doesnt have any insurance, i dont think she'd be able to afford it.... i'll have my bf keep trying to convince his siblings, hopefully one of them will actually come up here soon
