i loved cereal when i was pregnant.... bananas not so much cuz i ate too many and they got so nasty to me... but maybe the cereal part is right

  thanks, I wouldn't quite go that far (foodnetwork), but I know if I could work with some really great and talented people, I could get really good. The chocolate one I made for a competition. I didn't win (by a long shot), but I was happy with the final piece. I worked on that cake for 2 1/2 weeks. It's not how I originally wanted it to be. That cake, according to competition rules, had to made of I think 85% chocolate. So, my instructor had me do tempered chocolate (it's the process of melting chocolate so it doesn't bloom), which was pretty hard, most people just used chocolate fondant, which isa lot easier to work with. The little flowers and red berries are made with a chocolate dough, and the I painted the berries with red cocoa butter. I originally planned to fill each level of the cake with little white flowers (like the ones you see around the bases), but I ran out of time to finish decorating it. So, I improvised, and just did a pattern instead. I think I had about a 1,000 of those little flowers left over! haha. The green ones (cymbidiums) didn't turn out quite as I had hoped, but they were pretty none the less.   Thank you again. I really enjoy doing that stuff.

Oops I meant to say before, I like non-traditional cakes as well, but my taste usually runs pretty simple.

Ya that's what happened to me, I was eating htem like crazy, but then we put this new dessert on the menu at work whereI had to caramalize bananas, and it ruined it for me. I do not like cooked bananas, or bananas that were once cooked (I.E. banana bread). YUCK! haha

LOL LOL It won't get any better, when they are newborns you will have all the granny's in the store running over telling you what you should and shouldn't be doing with your baby-ugh.

i don't crave cereal or bananas, and I am pregnant with my 2nd boy! lol

I want sweets, and I'm not a sweets person. I"m a salty person when I'm not shareing my body-lol And with both pregnancies I can't get enough mexican food, I have tacos at least twice a week, I'd have it more but my hubby won't let me. lol So sometimes I make double batches of taco meat and eat on it through the week-ha!

It is almost 4 in the morning and I can't sleep. Ugh. My heartburn sucks. I need one of those bedside commode things lol. Sometimes I don't think I will make it to the bathroom. Oh and bananas make my heartburn worse. But I was told to eat bananas to help with nausea, but they aren't really helping. Back to the Phenergan. I am always hungry. I don't think I eat enough. I am still hungry no matter what. I am ready to go to my first appointment to find out exactly how far along I am. According to my last period, I am 8 1/2 weeks, but everyone seems to think I am further along than that. I kinda hope I am. =) Anyway, I'm just bored and blabbing lol.

I went to the doc yesterday and he prescribed me Phenergan because I cant eat whatsoever and I havent gained any weight at all which the Dr said is ok and normal even if I lost a little weight. But he is mainly concerned with my inability to eat. I havent filled the Phenergan yet. Does it help? Does it make you sleepy? I work nights so I dont want to be groggy, I am already really tired as it is. Look at the lil thing. Funny how something only 3/4 of an inch long can make such a big impact on your physical and mental health. LOL

mmmmm banana bread... damn, even tho im almost 7weeks PP, i still get some cravings like im pregnant, and u didnt help by mentioning banana bread lol

omg that was so me, i wanted mexican food all the time, i couldve eaten it every day while i was pregnant.... and the sweets, i HAD to have a big kit kat every day at work, otherwise i got very cranky... and when the damn vending machine in the break room ran out, i was soooo pissed
