I agree, it is sweet to see a family raising a family. Now if the kids were raising the kids so the parents could goof off or go party it up that would be a different case entirely.

ok nevermind, i wont be able to get the corgi   it couldve been ours, the guy was gonna hold him for us, but hubby checked all his money and we can afford it this week, he said maybe next week hopefully we can find a dog as cute as that one to get

sorry  . I was just telling my best friend yesterday that I want t o g et a dog, but now way can we afford a dog right now.. maybe next week!  

So, I went to pick up Oscar today from his work, because the people there hadn't seen me in awhileand they always ask abou tme (mostly customers). Anyways, a married couple owns the restaurant, and the wife had a friend who was helping them tonight. I walked in and they started saying how I don't look pregnant, and then asked me how far I was and I said almost in my 9th month. They said no way, so I unzipped my jacket a little to show my stomach, and the friend who was helping out said, you don't look pregnant, just fat. I told him Thanks alot (sarcastically), and told him that was not a very nice thing to say.

No he's not married, he's gay, not that it matter's I'd feel sorry for his boyfriend too. Oscar was pissed when I told him, but didn't say anything yet. Said he's going to talk to him tomorrow.

I can't believe you're going to get a dog with a new baby, you're brave! Haha...
when we got our dog, we knew we wanted to get one so we just kept looking around in the papers and online, and I found ours at an animal shelter for FREE! It wasn't the humane society thats here in town, but a small shelter in the country that takes them in and doesn't ever put any to sleep, so they give them away free so they don't stay there for a long time. And he's an awesome dog, he's trained and everything, he must have been someone's pet but they found him running down the highway somewhere.   Anyway, just keep looking around, you can find a great dog that's not gonna cost much. Just remember, they DO cost money once you get them. And a lot of time...I am not looking forward to taking care of him right when Sophie gets here.

I agree! We got a dog too, now I have a two yr old, a yr old puppy and a newborn on the way. They are expensive as a child sometimes!! And act like one too!

Thanks   it didn't really hit m until this morning. I meanI was upset last night, but I started thinking about it again this morning, and started crying. Oscar was so angry at the guy. He just kept saying how beautiful I am, and he loves me, and stuff like that. I don't think it would've affected me so much, but I feel that way. I know I'm not very big, so I feel like I look fat and not preggo.   My best friend and Oscarsaid whatever! He's a jerk, you totally look preggo.

i am plus sized also, But I am having trouble getting pregnant. Is there any adviced anyone can give me? I would really be thankful.

I am so glad I found this forum. I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my frist. I'm a size 16 and am so tired of seeing only skinny pregnant women that I could poke my eye out! I thought some of the presure would be off once I got pregnant because it's one of the only times in a woman's life when she can gain weight and not feel guilty, but I keep comparing my tummy to the tummies of those oh so skinny mamas and end up feeling depressed.
