re: Plus Size & Pregers

Well.. I had my appointment today.. Can't update you all on dilation because she didn't tell me what it was   She was too busy checking if the ultrasound tech was still around so I could get one done... She was worried that he turned and wasn't head down because of where she was hearing the heartbeat   I could of told her that he was head down but the ultrasound did instead..  Scheduled my appointment for next week too.. Better not need that one.. lol...

UGHHH bedrest completely stinks... i dont think that ive ever been so bored in my life... and im to the point now where i want to be up and around getting everything ready for the baby and i cant do anything... i know i have to do what i have to do so that me and the baby are healthy but it blows lol... oh u who are reading this are probably wondering why im on bedrest... lol ive been spilling protein into my pee samples and ive done two 24 hour pee collecting jug things lol my blood pressure is ok for now but im getting really puffy and icky... so the doc pretty much told me today that her gold is to get me to 37 weeks if not a little longer but im not going to go the entire 40 weeks... so im going to be a mommy sooner than expected... totally excited... totally freaking out lol... sorry to rant... none of my friends are or have been preggo so they dont really get it i guess... hope everyone else out there is doing well.

Today is one of those god awful days. Things started getting uncomfortable about a week ago - and today with the tailbone and back pain - I don't know what to do. It hurts the worst when I'm walking around as opposed to sitting, but my left foot will not stop swelling, so I have been keeping it elevated but making sure I walk around a little for the circulation.

No protein in my urine, and I did a 24 hour test a few weeks ago. My BP actually went down last appointment so they are happy about that, and apparently this swelling is normal...but I hate it. It's just my left foot and I can get it down dramatically overnight, but by a few hours into the day, it's all swollen and disgusting.

I'm very whiney today and ready to go home. Two more hours until I'm off work, and it seems like forever.

Any of you ladies dealing with "normal" swelling? What are you doing to aleviate your discomfort? For me, it's just my left foot and by the end of the day, it's so swollen that it feels numb and wiggling my toes is a joke.

Haha, yes that is a freaking ridiculous amount of kids, but I think they seem very sweet (the whole family).

Hey between to two of us we have a pair of swollen feet! LOL My Right foot keeps swelling, it was swollen for two days, I went to the doc and NOTHING, no swelling-i'm like EEERRR!!
But My BP has been down the last two times too, so I guess they just chalked it up to reg swelling too.
I been taking bendryl at night, I don't know if it helps for that or not, but it lets me rest. I also try to lay on my left side for a little while a day, that seems to help getting rest.

It is 2:30 in the morning here and I just had to get up out of bed because I have such bad heartburn it woke me up!! Grrr. We are having professional pics taken tomorrow. Won't it be awesome if I have huges bags under my eyes...

Giid morning! This my usual wake up because I'm hungry and my hips hurts too bad too sleep time  . I'm gonnahave some cereal then go back to bed, just wanred to pop in and say hi!

haha. I got up at 2 and stayed up till 3:30...I watched Discovery Health Channel. And now its 8:30 and I've been up for an hour and a half. I NEED SLEEP!!
Also, I have had a headache every single day for the past 3 days. I take tylenol and it doesn't help. I hate it. I just had my appt on Tuesday, and my blood pressure was good, so I don't think that's it...I have no idea.

Try and take some naps. I don't know why but I've been incredibly tired these past couple days. I'm really not sleeping well though because of my hips. So I think I'm just making up for that. Did you tell your dr about the headaches?

i might be getting a dog today... i found him on craigslist, its a corgi mix, those dogs with the tiny lil legs lol... hes so cute, we're gonna go see him a lil later and see if we wanna take him,.... most likely will, but i just wanna see if he would be too too hyper with cedric... if we get him, i'll post pix for yall  

oh yea, and i got a msg earlier from baby gaga... ive been chosen as one of the featured members! yay! if u refresh one of the main topic pages enough, u'll see me there   lol im such a dork, but that just made me so happy to see that lol

Epsom salt! Use it as soon as you get home. It can be found in pharmacy's around the world. It also helps to massage your feet with body butter. And if you can get a foot bath that has a bubble maker and massager in it. They also make slippers that vibrate and they are soooo wonderful! Good luck.
