re: Plus Size & Pregers

I seem to gain all mine right at once, with in the first 6months. Then I start kind of start staying in one place or only gaining a pound or two until I have him. I gained a ton of weight with Ethan, I think I counted up about 70lbs I'd loose a little then gain it back. Finally when was about 10months old I buckled down and lost the rest of the 40lbs that I hadn't lost yet. Then I found out I was pregnant again. lol Oh Well.

I think you are suppost to gain 15-20lbs if you are plus size. Reg. weight 20-35lbs. But I don't really pay attention to that. I don't want to gain a ton, but you know I'm not going to cry if I gain 50lbs.

That is exactly why i want my kids close together..... I am 26, My sister is 19 and in the americorp, my brotherr is 12 and my lil sis is 10.... 16 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell no. My mom is 46 and by the time Claire (the 10 year old) is old enough to go to collece she will be 54. Still young, but in the end she will have spent almost 40 years raising kids through the 0-18 range... NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!

Thats how I look at it too. I want to try and stay in the healthy range but if I go over it will not be the end of the world.... My mom gained over 50 lbs with all of her kids....She is just now losing weight that stayed on for years....

My mom gained with me, lost it, then had my brother right after me (17months) and gained, never lost it..now she has gained a lot. Never had gotten' it off. I don't want to do that. I want to loose it after this one and just try and maintain the best I can. I don't want to be be and miserable my whole life.

I'm new to the board and almost done.. But was wondering if anyone here is having severe hip problems? My doctor is making go my last two weeks till my c section but if anyone has tips to help ease the hip pain plz let me know. Thanks

oh yes, my hips hurt.
Try sleeping with a pillow between your legs. Thats about all I can do for mine. I also take tylenol.

thanks yeah i did not even think it might be saline, but yeah nothen major has happened so i believe everything is ok. ;)

u know i never thought of it like that. i always said i wanted to start trying when the other was 3 so that it was not that close, but now that u said that i am having second thoughts! lol
