Quoting :|:Victoria's-Mama:|:: i've officially given up on breastfeeding. it just cant happen. my body will NOT produce enough milk ... [snip!] ... in the past but i became obsessive with my points (so bad where i was carrying the swatch with me all the freaking time.)
Quoting NikiJ87: Ok so I have never really had chapped lips before, but it seems like now that I have gotten pregnant my lips are ALWAYS chapped! Constantly!
Quoting MrsDye: I still drink caffeine...just not a ton...but I was major addicted to coffee before so I can't completely ... [snip!] ... I agree, I miss sushi. I also miss never getting heartburn. I'm up with it right now...and I miss ibuprofen. Tylenol is crap.
Quoting MommyTwo2: Is your hair curley now? I've heard the longer you go with out hair, the curlier it gets? lol

Quoting MrsDye: I was a bald baby and now I have a ton of hair but it is SUPER straight. My niece Peyton also was bald ... [snip!] ... bald until she was like, 3 (pissed my sister in law off, everyone thought she was a boy) and she has really straight hair too.
Quoting indiesupermom: I drink some caffeine too. My dr. actually told me to have a cup of coffee everyday because I had such ... [snip!] ... sushi, and a rare steak so I can have all my favorites after the delivery. Wonder if we could sneak it past the nurses??? ;)
Quoting NikiJ87: Ok so I have never really had chapped lips before, but it seems like now that I have gotten pregnant my lips are ALWAYS chapped! Constantly! One reason you lips get chapped is from low water levels in your body, if you're drinking enough water then your lips should be ok. Since during pregnancy (especially 1st trimester) your body is using a lot of water (to build the placenta and amniotic fluid) you're probably just needing to drink a bit more water than normal. This is one thing I've heard, not sure if it's 100%, but can't hurt to try.

Tylenol has never worked on me, my pain med resistance is really high. I usually only need it once a month ;), but when I get cramps I have to take 4-5 at time for it kick in.
Quoting MommyTwo2: I grocery shop at walmart and I've never saw that before. I will have to keep a look out for something ... [snip!] ... homemade speg. sauce all the time and I am dying cause I can't have any-ugh. Wow You are schooled in all kinds of food!! Oh! I just remembered, here's something you can try, have you ever had spaghetti squash? It's a hard squash like acorn, but if when you cook it and scrape out the insides it comes out in long strands, like spaghetti. It doesn't have a squashy flavor to it, and it's a great substitute for diets. I know squash can be high in natural sugar, so if you're not sure, you can probably look it up on the internet. It's definitely not as sweeet as an acorn or butternut. I used it A LOT to substitute for spaghetti (addicted to pasta myself), and it's pretty close to the real thing.
Quoting MommyTwo2: I've been craving beer, martini's and all those things and half of them I don't even like. I think its just that I can't have them-lol You know I've never been able to get into sushi. I think for a lot of people it's a texture thing.. sushi I mean. When I first started eating it, I'd only eat the pieces with the fish really chopped up, but somewhere between now and then I've grown to love it. Maybe it's because Oscar is a sushi chef, but you know! haha.. I really miss my tuna! I can't wait til I can have it again.

Wonder if we could sneak it past the nurses??? ;)See the only thing I haven't given up (besides chocolate) is my medium-rare steaks, I refuse to eat steak that's cooked so long it's like leather. I figure I'm giving up everything else, this one thing is still going to be mine. The only thing you want to watch eating steaks not well done, is where you go to eat them. Busy places are great to go to have non-well-done steak. It means they have a lot of turn over, and that their product isn't sitting around for days on end. Plus most of the time when you go to not so nice restaurants you tell them med-rare and it come med-well or well done, because the cook doesn't know when to stop. Sorry too much industry info for you guys! lol, but it could be helpful for you later.
Quoting Dazzle: hey, I am home, surgery went good. So far no complications that i can tell. still a little achy at times, ... [snip!] ... from now on. i also heard him say that my cervix is softer than it should be at 12 wks, but he did not mention anything to me.
