Quoting Misty Tarlton:" What kind of things do you guys eat? It makes no sense how different people eating the same things can ... [snip!] ... salty foods? Or anything weird? I have been craving mostly fruits and dairy lol. This is my 5th baby and its always different."
Quoting *Kristina G*:" the way you eat doesn't determine you to get a c.section your body nd the baby do. if you're busy is ... [snip!] ... is to small narrow or the baby heartrate drops or your body just doesn't wanna dialate is what causes you to have a c.section"Of course those are factors at the time. What I meant about avoiding sugar all along is to try to prevent growing a baby too big to get out naturally. There won't be anything I can do about it during delivery if there is need for an emergency c-section, but there IS a lot I can do now if I am really careful with my diet. I still may end up where I don't want to, but at least I will have tried my very best now.

Quoting phantom32548:" Hi there. There is comfort in knowing that I am not alone. I had my first child almost 9 years ago ... [snip!] ... is killing me! I just want to hear a heart beat or something. Anything to calm my nerves and keep me from driving myself crazy!"I hear you. I had no morning sickness at ALL and worried a lot all along. My boobs hurt and I had less appetite is all. I will warn you that if you are overweight they may not hear the heartbeat as early. (They still didn't hear mine at 15.5 weeks and I go Monday for a 20 week attempt, but bump is growing on schedule and 11.5 week U/S showed baby was fine.) I was a lot calmer than I might have been when they didn't hear it because I knew stories of others who hadn't heard it when expected. Just resign yourself to waiting. Honestly, if I chose to do it again, I would not see a midwife so soon because all they do is flip me out with false alarms... about not hearing heartbeat, misdiagnosis of low platelets, failing 1-hour but passing 3-hour glucose test. If I have another baby I will only go once in the first trimester if needed (because that is the most accurate dating of baby by U/S), or probably schedule my first appointment at 22 weeks. They don't do anything before then anyway!
