Quoting DasaHill:" im plus sized.... and 17 weeks pregnant with my first. my friend ashley is only 14 weeks and she has ... [snip!] ... have like 7 other prego friends but they were so tiny also... they have the cutest lil prego bellys... and i just look fat! lol"
I felt baby kick for the first time at 14 weeks and now at 18 weeks yesturday i can feel bub kick all the time. It doesnt matter our size as to when you will feel you will just feel it when ur baby is good and ready to thump his/ her mama lol.
I do feel your pain everyday i look in the mirror wondering if iv got a preggy belly yet and all i see is fat but my hubby put it in a good way to me that im sexy as i am and any extra weight it just extra padding to protect your baby.

Glad to know others feel the way i do.. I am currently 23 weeks with my fourth., and for some reason with my girls I actually got a cute baby bump with both. With my boys on the other hand, i get big all around. I am just hoping this time around i don't get gestational diabetes. I have only had it with my second child, but is it true being bigger increases the chances?

I agree the bigger you are the do run the risk of getting gest. diabetes, I was checked for that around my 32 week because of my family history of diabetes. Luckly I did not have it.

I'm not alone!! I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant, with my first baby (BOY) 180 lbs my pre pregnancy weight I was 155-160. I barley show now and I feel like I'm just gaining unnessasary weight, it scares me about how hard it will be after birth to lose the weight.. :/
If y'all know any good work outs to do during pregnancy to maintain my weight please let me know!!

I used to be one of them skinny girls that thought i wouldnt gain....boy was i wrong...with my first pregnancy(2007-200
i went frome 132 to 220...and about 6 months after i had him i got pregnant with my daughter (2008-2009)and gained only about 10 lbs. ..then i eventually ended up pregnant with my 3rd child(2011) and gained about 16 lbs with him...now i am in my 6th week with my 4th child and weigh 247.. kinda afraid that im going to gain alot so i am trying to do some kind of exercise but am afraid because my 3rd pregnancy i had a placenta previa and i dont know if i will have another one with this one....i guess maybe its a good thing that i am having all my babies while im this size instead of lossing and gaining it all back... Yes i hate being this size but if i knew i would gain as much as i did i would still have my babies...so glad i am not the only one with concerns

I'm a mother of 7 & expecting # 8 in May. Before I got pregnant I was losing wait also. I lost 50lds and Bam now I'm with child. I think that turns the men on. I've already gain 20lbs and I'm only 15 weeks. But I'm a big girl but I have a pregnant belly already. Size doesn't matter. The more kids u have the sooner u will look pregnant.

I wasn't plus sized until after I had my first son, almost 8 years ago. I've been struggling to loose weight for the past 8 years. I just kept getting pregnant. I gained an additional 20-30 pounds per pregnancy, and now have my 4th baby on the way, the first girl, and I'm loosing more weight this pregnancy than I've gained. I started out at 135 8 years ago, 200 when he was born. I got on depo before I even left the hospital, and I feelthat prevented me from losing the baby weight right away as it messed with my metabolism. I did manage to lose about 20 pounds before I got pregnant again. I was 180 when my middle son was conceived, and 200 when he was born. After he was born, I couldn't lose weight for nothing. I was actually 210 when I conceived my youngest son, and gained 30 punds with him. I was 226 when I was first weighed with my current pregnancy. I now weigh 234, and the only part of me that is growing is the belly, everything else is shrinking! All this wouldn't be so bad, but I am only 5'3", making it look like a lot more and putting increased strain on my joints. With this being my final pregnancy, I will be getting fixed and I have a goal to lose at least 80 pounds by my 10 year high school reunion. I have no problem being plus sized, I just want to look hot and have the energy to keep up with my crazy kids without causing more harm to my joints than I currently do. Being plus sized and pregnant is definitely a challenge. I have the desire to keep my house clean, but I lack the energy. It's being sapped out of me by my older kids! lol.

I'm a big girl when i had my 2 previous pregnancy's my stomach was flat til around 5 months but with the 1st i gained alot of wich was water retention as soon as my ds1 was born it was gone in a matter of days my stomach was flat again if not a little jelly like he was a big boy weighing 9lb7oz then 3 months later......i was somehow pregnant again couldn't really tell til he did a body roll in my stomach at 16 weeks ds2 was born weighing a whopping 9lb13oz a week before his due date it took forever for my stomach to go down and it never did flatten down again completely now i'm 9 +4 with no3 and i feel like something is wrong because my stomach atleast felt hard with previous pregnancies i had a bleed and cramping yesterday and went to ER they did all the usual tests then told me to come back tuesday morning for my 1st scan i'm really really scared i don't feel pregnant like i did with the others.....another thing that annoys me is why they make so many gorgeous maternity clothes for skinny ladies but just because i eat and not blessed to weigh the same as a teenage boy there is nothing and it's more expensive for something rhat looks like a tent i'm not overly big 20-22 i'm scared that because i'm not what they call normal sized i'm hurting my baby i don't eat huge amounts of food lately i can barely manage to eat a meal

Im a plus size preggo!! Less plus sized this time around but more concerned about the weight gain!
This is my second baby and it's a boy!
My first was a girl... I was 330 lbs when I got pregnant with her and got up to 350 lbs .... YIKES.
With this pregnancy I was 202 lbs when I became pregnant . I worked really hard for a year to get down to 202 * the smallest ive been since even b4 high school * ... and I dropped a bit more during my first and second trimester.. I got down to 191 but now i'm almost back up to 200 and i'm starting to panic. Im 27 weeks and any advice on avoiding weight gain ( as much as possible ) is very welcome!! ... I constantly feel as tho i'm starving. I can't seem to go more than 3 hrs tops without having something put into my tummy

Girl I hear ya on that one. Im 27 weeks and i feel that i look pregnant when i turn to the side but i get lots of people who say " omg youre pregnant? youre due in just a couple months? really!? " ... it drives me nuts because the tiny women out there who start showing at like 4-5 mo. get special treatment and it seems to me that their pregnancies are more important to others. Might just be my opinion but ive felt that way with both of my pregnancies now. The smaller preggo girls get the attention and seats on the bus while I get the " is she just really fat " looks
