Quoting Jade Mcelroy:" hi all!! i am a plus size mum to be. this is my second pregnancy, i have a three year old princess already ... [snip!] ... other then my weight i was quite happily trudging along being pregnant!! lil scary!!! would love to hear from anyone. x"
Quoting mailepk:" I found out this morning that I have an abnormal amount of protein in my urine and they are sending me ... [snip!] ... been following all the guidelines and I've been walking and making sure that I'm moving. I don't know where I went wrong. "
Quoting mommy of 3 bratz:" Yes I had the same issue with my last pregnancy every single time you go in they collect a urine sample ... [snip!] ... you can do right now is not worry I know that is easier said then done but really I am sure things will be fine. good luck"
Quoting Leah Santini:" the thing i have heard from a hemotologist is that I'm too fat, that I need to lose weight, that i don't ... [snip!] ... that is how he was too me, even his own nurses don't like him, but he pays them well......... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......"Hey there Leah, I have a friend who lives in MN. She is short, and has for the most of her life been heavy. She was pregnant with twins, and after they were born. The Dr told her she was morbidly obese, and she should have a gastric by pass surgery. Stupid DR I wanted to kill after him telling her that, That is not the safest surgery in the world, and it can turn your life upside down. She ended up losing a bunch of weight just playing with her girls. I saw her almost 2 years after she had them, she was down to a size 16. witch for her was a great size. I think your Dr needs to take a lesson in ................get the blank out of his field. Because that is not the way to treat any human being. I hope you find a better DR....
Quoting mailepk:" Thank you for responding back. I am just anxious to get some testing done to figure everything out. ... [snip!] ... trying not to worry as much because I do feel better about it, but it is hard not to think about it. Anyway, thanks again! "
Quoting Melissa Helton:" I Agree Finally someone on here who is not skinny minny!! im 22 weeks prego im due in oct the aorund ... [snip!] ... to see if i pass again i passed the first time..just feeling very blah right now and very fat fatter than i have ever felt "I lost weight with my last two pregnancies and so far this pregnancy I have lost 10 pounds not trying to either. Shoot I wish I could just lose weight when not pregnant but no of course not I am all backwards. I lost around 20 something pounds during pregnancy with my last two babies and dropped almost another 20lbs just from giving birth both of my babies were over 8 pounds It happened to my mother too. I am not counting any ducks at this point because I am only 21 weeks and could still put on a bunch of weight.. Pretty strange thing but the doctors were not worried about it because I am overweight to start with. Its weird how many other plus size woman have had the same issue, I was practically skinny by the time I gave birth the last two times. too bad i couldnt seem to keep it all off. lol wth
Quoting Melissa Helton:" i just dont want to be any fatter than i am.. and my doctor is unconcerned as well.. bc im so heavy...he ... [snip!] ... about being fat and having huge babys.. just hurts me at this point and makes me not want to gain weigtdo not think like that please that is so off basis you dont have to worry I know tons of very thin woman who gave birth to babies over 9 pounds your size has nothing to do with how big the baby will be at birth. I have very heavy friends who have had very tiny babies between 5 and a half pounds to like 7 pounds. A big baby generally indicated a very healthy baby and shows that the mom took care of themselves so its a good thing not a bad thing. The placenta does not last for ever and and the healthier the pregnancy the bigger that cord will be. so all you need to do is take care of your self and your weight should not affect the baby in any negative way at all. a big baby tells you that your body took care of the placenta, the organ in which nurished your baby for the past nine month. Any way everything I said is a Fact. so dont feel that way at all.
