momma's who had their baby in the last few months (question)

My baby is 8 wks old today and i still havent gotten my period...I stopped bleeding from having him alittle before he was 2 weeks, so that makes it a good 6 weeks since that...shouldnt I have had one by now? And there is no way Im pregnant cause my husband had a vasectomy a month before my son was born. (and yes, we had him tested, he is sterile) Should I be worried?

If your not, sometimes it just takes a little while for things to get back to normal.

No, im not breastfeeding. I just dont remember it taking this long after having my first child, but that was over 4 yrs ago, so who knows... I would call my Dr, but Im ashamed to say i never went for my follow up. My insurance ended and I just paid off all my hospital bills and didnt want to pay for another Drs visit.... I know, I know...
