At least Arlington is out of the swampy area so it'll be dry heat. Dry heat is so much better than humidity. Did you guys pick out a place to live?

There are 2 apartment complexes I've been stalking online. My BIL will check them out in person next week and report back his findings.  
If the apartments are no good, we can stay a few weeks at my FIL's house, they have already cleared up a room for us. I'd rather not overstay my welcome, though.

i mean, i am glad i don't live in texas anymore, but that for sure means that when i visit fort worth that i will get to see you! it is so close!

false. it is humid as hell there.  

i remember 13 straight days of temps in the hundreds and the dew point in the 70's. gah.

here i am scaring poor viktoria, though. but, no, sarah, that part of texas isn't dry heat by any means. the metroplex is humid. and hot.

Really? I thought Arlington was around DFW? When I was there it was so much drier compared to where I was in Texas by Houston. And about a gazillion times less humid than the swamp known as New Orleans.

arlington is in/around dfw (the metroplex). yes, certainly less swampy than houston. absolutely. and i always used to joke with my old boss/friend/tom's best man who grew up in both houston and louisiana that the LA license plate theme was not sportsman's paradise, or whatever it is, but, really, "america's swamp." pissed him off to no end.

anyway...

drier heat is west. metroplex is still nasty humid and hot and mosquitoes (although not like the giant ones here), something i certainly do not miss on my list of things i miss, and there are definitely great things about texas that i miss; i just thank god everyday that i live in minnesota.

i have a lot of fort worth pride. i used to visit multiple times a year before i ever met tom, or even moved there, because i love it so much. unfortunately, in-laws ruined a lot for me and i choose to stay away because of them. hence, i miss things there, but i have to weigh my sanity.

Mosquitoes, snakes, humidity and heat... they cannot keep me from relocating to America.  

My green card interview is next Thursday, Zoé's passport appointment is on Friday. We'll probably drive down on Wednesday evening and drive back home Friday afternoon. We should have all our documents back by the 22nd of June. So I'm booking the first available, reasonably priced flights to DFW after that date.

Wow hi everyone it's been along time since I've been on her kids r getting big now huh? Bellas 3 and has some personality she will tell when and were to stick it lol love her she listens good were still trying to potty train she started telling me when she had to pee yesterday and she did pee the 1st time I keep telling her if she pees on the potty she can go to school she wants to go to school so bad lol and I have a potty chart for her she get to put a sticker on the calendar every time she goes pee or poop and if she gets 5 days in a week were going to chucky cheese and so far seems to be working kinda I hope she starts soon cuz I can't afford pull ups 20 for 10 bucks just crazy so any who nick proposed for Christmas and we set a date for July 13, 2013 lucky day 7 13 13 hehe and he has been the one talking about having another baby we are not trying but we are not preventing it either I'm starting a new job next week I'm gunna be a home care aide so excited to start a new and I miss all the chatter on here when we were all prego but hey who has time any more work and kids and parties ugh the parties seems like 2 a month I think with the amount of small kids in this family lol my niece just turned 2 and her party is this weekend

Its like crickets in here. Hi mommas!
