Hold on... I need to take a BREATH!

posted 6th Oct '07
It's not uncommon, I know... but it's irritating. I was just wondering if anybody else has a hard time like I do when it comes to breathing comfortably when they are sitting down (mostly). I mean, I'm a shorty (5'0") and my uterus hit my ribs and started popping out faster than most average sized people. Now when I sit I need to sit way back to be able to breathe somewhat normally. Haha. I get out of breathe quick, too! It's not painful just one of those annoying things you get during pregnancy I suppose. Pregnancy is dang tiring though!

I have the most problems breathing when I'm laying down. For some reason I just can't get a good breath.

Oh yeah definitely laying down makes it tough too! I don't lay on my back very often though, I try to avoid it because of the whole circulation thing and because of the baby pressing down into my spine, it gets painful if I lay that way for too long. I wish I could lay on my belly again! Turning side to side is such a pain! I wake up during the night everytime I need to switch sides because I can't just roll over like I used to. Haha!

I try not to sleep on my back either but every morning without fail I wake up sleeping like that. I've found that proping pillows behind me so that I'm sleeping on an angle helps a little.

I was a belly sleeper. Child killed my sleep. I wake like, every two hours. I hate sleeping on my side. I get so uncomfortable easily.
