anyone know what a crack spoon looks like?

posted 6th Oct '07
My fiance found this spoon and brought it home and I'm worried that it may have been used for something illegal. I can put up a picture in a little bit, just wondering if I should throw it out or let him keep it. It's cool looking but if it's been used for that then I don't want it in the house...

I guess if I had any doubts, I would throw it out.
I have never been around crack before... but from the movies, aren't the spoons bent and black from being burnt?
And why would you keep a spoon that you found?? Is it THAT cool?
I guess I will wait for the pictures.

the inside of the bowl on the spoon would look bleached almost, sometimes it has a yellowy stain (if so then heroin has been cooked in it as well as cocaine) and the bottom of the spoon would look burnt. Also if there are any engraved designs near the bowl of the spoon, they would have a sticky substance in them from cocaine resin.

i used to smoke, i have one year four days clean...

Good for you for being clean... doesnt that mean you were smoking while you were pregnant? I am glad that your baby and you are ok... but wow.

Good for you for being clean! That's awesome! I've never been around the stuff before and never even seen it on tv. The spoon was wrapped in plastic and doesn't look like it's been used. My fiance wants to keep it but I think I'm gonna throw it out. I'm taking pictures now. So I will get them up in a few. Thanks for the replies ladies!

Dude, that spoon is awesome!!!

I don't think it's a crack spoon, it's too shiny and it's usually just a regular kitchen spoon used or a ladle. Even after they've been clean, they have a real dull look to them and an orangey-brown staining to the inner bowl, and a dark brown staining to the bottom because of being burnt

And yeah, I was using in the first three months but I had no clue I was pregnant (I've always had really irregular periods, and I figured the drug use was just stressing my body again to a no period cycle) It's a miracle Emma is normal, but they're expecting behavioral and learning problems in her adolescents, and she's definitely going to be an easy addict if she ever uses drugs because she has a predisposed addiction. However she's ahead on the charts in physical development, but intellectual she's a few weeks behind (babbling and stuff)

He has never seen a spoon like this and thought it was just sooooo cool. I admit it's pretty neat looking, but I don't think I wanna keep it around. oh well... guess he will have to deal with my decision... lol.
