I dont know what else to do

i have itchy bumps all over my body that arent PUPPPS or anything else that my dr. can figure out and NOTHING makes them stop itching.my OB has given me four different types of steroid treatment, ive tried every cream possible, ive taken an oatmeal bath, and nothing has helped. ive tried switching soap and detergent and stuff like that but it doesnt help either. its gotten so bad that i have giant raw spots covering my body from itching so bad and i wake up in the morning with blood under my nails from where i scratch at night. they seem to get worse at night. i only get maybe an hour of sleep because its so bad.

so my question is, should i ask to be induced when i become full-term? im normally against inductions if nothing is wrong with the baby and i know pregnancy isnt supposed to be fun but i have no idea what to do. the itching is taking over my life. its like im on a constant bad acid trip. i feel so guilty for even asking that question though. i feel like im being selfish.

Have you tried Benadryl? If it's an allergic reaction to something it should help, and it's ok to take when your prego.

yep, ive tried all those things. this has gone on for over half of my pregnancy but its just now getting really extreme.

Has your Doctor tested you for Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy - ICP? It is a form of Jaundice that effects pregnant woman.
I don't think asking for induction would be a bad thing. I am getting induced at 39 weeks because my baby is going to be big.

Go out and get yourself some calamine lotion to place over the areas where you itch the most   its perfectly safe during pregnancy and with your acid do what i do, sleep slightly upright it helps a great deal
