started cramping & spotting - can U help?

I was told 2 weeks ago that there was no baby when they did my ultra sound, either blighted ovum or baby died before 6 weeks. Up until today I had no bleeding or spotting at all.

This afternoon I started spotting - it starts and stops - cramping is mild and intermittent.

what should I expect to be happening now?

Last time I miscarried it was instant bleeding and pain - VERY severe pain.

Should I expect the bleeding, passing tissue and extreme pain tonight, tomorrow or when?

I'm around 9 weeks now.

I know I have so many "what will happen" questions but I'm really scared - I have my BF here tonight but will be all alone tomorrow.

So sorry you are going thru this. I suppose the bleeding will get heavier and the cramping more severe. That's what happened to me, anyway, but after I passed the baby there was no more pain and the bleeding lessened. Take it easy and keep up your strength!

Bleeding has stopped now - this is awful, I hope it starts again I've been waiting 2 weeks since finding out my pregnancy is not viable for something to happen, thought it was happening this afternoon, now stopped again.

you're welcome. I know what it's like to feel alone. When I lost a baby in May, I went into "labor" I had contractions so bad I couldn't be comfy at all....and my hubby slept the whole time!!!!! I'm prego again now, and everything is good so far. There is a light at the end and you are not alone. The women on here have been so helpful and so caring.

It's 2:30 am and I'm lightly spotting but the pain is so very bad, like the worst menstrual cramps I've had.

I took 2 extra strength Advil, not doing much.

I have one Dilaudid pill left over from surgery that I had in April but I'm saving it for if things get worse.

Last time I miscarried I thought I was going to die the pain was so bad and I had Tylenol3 and it didn't even do much. I'm getting real scared. My boyfriend has to work in the morning and only my son will be here (I had forgotten there is no school today) and he doesn't know I'm pregnant so I can't let him know anything is wrong. (He's a very sensitive boy and would be SO upset if he knew that there was a baby and it died).

Just knowing that there is someone here is a help, being alone through this is so scary, and trying to let my son think I'm fine (I'll just tell him I have the flu since I won't be going to work) will be hard.

I'll keep you updated on how I progress later. Going to try and sleep, the pain woke me up or I would still be sleeping now.

i know what your going through hunny i went through it with my first miscarriage...it is definitly not fun...the doc had me on bed rest until everyting passed, takes a couple days at the most...be strong hunny
