Baby Dropping - Did you feel it??

I think that on Thursday I may have felt the baby dropping. At first I thought maybe it was contrax but he almost felt like he was clawing his way out! When I got up several hours later I felt different and I think that the baby is sitting lower? I am not real big so it is a little harder to tell for others if I have dropped but my pants even feel a little different. Anyway my question to everyone is did you feel when your baby was dropping, when was it (what week) and then how long did it take for labor to start?

I will be 37wks on Wednesday   and I don't think I have had any contrax or even Braxton Hick contrax yet? First time mom so I have lots of questions-sorry.

well i havent experienced it yet, but what you described sounds like what they say it is supposed to sound like. do you feel hungrier and do you feel like you can breathe easier? those are also other signs of dropping   good luck mama!!!

Thanks for the reply :-) I do feel like I can inhale more food. And thinking about it my heartburn has subsided too, forgot about taking rolaids nightly! It is harder though now to get to sleep at night, i can not find a good position. Both sides seem to be bothersome. Oh well, thanks again for the reply I was starting to think I was the only one here whose baby dropped

I felt my son drop about a week before i had him and that was the best feeling ever i could breath again lol. But i was standing when my son droped and my hubbys cousin was there cause i wasnt feeling well and she was helping me and just happened to have her hand there and felt him drop he went so hard. But yeah i felt him drop if you can breath and have a little more presure down there she/he problay did drop which means hopefully you will delver soon. gl

Last sunday I had HORRIBLE pain and cramping down in the pelvic area and i'm thinking that was the baby.. cause at my next doctor appt. the doctor said he was at a -2 station which is really close to crowning.. so obviously something went on in that PAIN! So.. i think you'll notice.. and then it feels like his head's between my legs now when I walk.. so fun fun fun.. the joys of pregnancy  

My baby dropped at about week 32. I have had lower back pain and cramps on and off maybe contractions? This is my second and Im still not to sure! LOl I've been losing my plug for the past 5 days bloody some days and some not. So I think/hope I will have mine soon. I will be 37 weeks tomorrow! Well in 59 minutes it will be midnight!!!
