Love this story and love how you did not let that doctor talk you into anything different than what you had planned for yourself. Good for you! I laughed out loud at work at the picture of Maddox "not impressed." Hilarious.

Diem did not have the Graco system when she was a baby but now she sits in it and watches TV just like Maddox in that picture. She climbs in it herself. And how the hell did you keep that thing clean? It looks brand new. The little playbar has bits of cookies and other random things that Myles' grubby little hands put on it.

Anyway glad you all are home and getting into the rhythm of things. Like Jenn said, you are a real trooper. Now change that info bar of yours and make it say mother of two!!!

I made it through your story =) first of all, congrats for sticking to your hearts desires =) and two your boysare beautiful =) I had my daughter march 22, 2010. and I said to my doc for the next one (in the future) lol would it be possible for me to do a VBAC and he was like " well, it's best you don't because of the complications, blah blah blah" and I just listened. I understand there could be complications, but I think they should give u more of an option for at least trying and if something goes wrong then a c section is the way to go, or if during the pregnancy the baby seems big or something isnt seeming right. soo hopefully (fingers crossed) I can, hubby's in the military so I won't have the same doc, so maybe another one will be more understanding of my desire to have a vaginal birth. I want to experience that sooo bad. With my daughter I was stuck at 4 cm for and she was sideaways with the cord around her neck, so she wasnt coming out and needed out, but hopefully things will go better next time =) congrats again

What an AWESOME story!! And great experience. Had me crying!! I'm praying I can have a successful VBAC this time around. Congrats - what a wonderful Mother's Day gift  

Congratulations to you!!! and good for you for sticking to what was best for you and your baby. i had an emergency c section with my daughter because she was losing oxygen. im 27 weeks pregnant and praying for a vbac!! i know it wont be easy butreading stories like yours give me hope!!
