If I don't breastfeed or pump for 24 hours will my milk dry up?

It takes longer than 24 hours, but I wouldn't try it.
Your milk is supply and demand-the more often it's needed, the more your body produces.

It probably won't dry up but it will decrease your supply. Its based on supply and demand. Im dealing with issues right now because baby is sleeping longer at night I have to set an alarm to get up and pump so I can stay on a fairly normal schedual.

The thing is my mom is taking the baby for the night... because I am really sick and Need a little break... Normally in situations like this I would pump through-out the day.... but my pump isn't working right...

You won't dry up but you will loose alot of your supply and that sometimes takes awhile to get it back up!

I really hope my milk doesn't dry up... I can't get my pump to work..!

I know I will probally have to nurse her quite a bit tomorrow to make up for it..!


And there are ways to increase your supply if it goes down? Arn't there?

it takes a bit of time but you can hand express. Ive had to do this before I just caught it in a glass then stored it in bottles.
