Ok..thought this would be fun for everyone!!!

I was talking to a couple friends of mine (about being preg.) They both had boys. Well, I had a girl. So, we compared "cravings, how long we were sick, how we carried, etc..."
So, I thought this would be a great opportunity to see if some things hold true. For example, my friends who had the boys... craved lots of meat, however it made me sick...and I craved fruits and veggies!
It will be fun!!! and interesting!!
So, how 'bout it?

Here ya go   ....... I am having a boy, and i am gaining completely in the front, no where else. Mostly I crave fruits & veggies also, and occasionally some pasta. Where are you & your friends carrying?  

I am having a girl and I must say I am craving more meat...chicken sandwiches from anywhere!!! I am gaining wright all over butt, hips thighs belly etc.

I'm having a boy and I crave PIZZA and mostly anything cold and sweet!

Well everytime my aunts or cousins have boy they get bad mornig sickness and when they are going to have girls they get really sleepy all the times..and when i didnt know the babys gender but i did have alot of morning sickness so at 20 weeks i found out that i was having a boy!

My friends were pretty much all baby..all in the front. and I (when i was preg. with my girl) gained all over.
I craved fruit and veggies. i use to eat plain tomatoes..yuk! haha. and meat made me sick.
maybe it depends on the person

Oh and both of my friends (who had boys) didn't get sick much and ate a lot of meat and potatoes! However, i was BAD sick with a girl. i was on the toilet with a trash can in my face! haha.

When I was pregnant with my son I had morning sickness sooooo bad and with this one I never got sick at all. I also craved spinich all the time with my son and this one I crave meat and bananas all the time and I dont like bananas... lol I was told this one was a boy too... lol

Yeah. I had early morning sickness with my girl. but I remember my friends saying they were sick late in their preg. too. around 20 weeks. Does anyone think the "carrying high or low" theory is true??

My husband has 6 brothers, she swears carry low it's a boy, carry high it's a girl. And so far all 3 of my children are falling under that belief. I have a 10 year old boy who was REALLY low and "Deep" is the term my DR used. My daughter is 2 and she stayed in my lungs most of the time, or that is what it felt like. I'm carrying a boy now... YIPPIE! and he kicks me in places no person should be kicked!

I noticed with my boys I want salty things and with my girl mild and sweet.

I was nauseus with both boys, but not terribly sick. With my girl I was horribly sick!

I definately slept more with my girl than my boy. (Nap everyday and eat lunch at my desk.) I also did not sleep as well at night with either of the boys. (Believe it or not, I fight to fall asleep at night... and wake up every hour or so... usually to go to the bathroom, but sometimes it's just to try to go back to sleep.

Anyone else seeing some of these things?

I am having a boy. I am caring him low and I have gained all me weight in my belly, butt and and upper thigh area. I have a nice set of saddle bags going. I can't wait till I can excercise hard like I used to. Anyway I haven't had any cravings really. I was nausious in the beginning but only threw up like three times and only when I was brushing my teeth. I cannot drink lemonade or orange juice or basically any juice or I get the worst case of heart burn anyone could ever have. I guess thats about it.

I never believed in the whole carry ing high and low thing or any other myths but I'm having a boy and I'm carrying really low and when one of my friends was preg. she had a girl and she carried so high that you would have thought her belly was fake lol! I think I may believe this ONE myth!!

Hey I am having a boy and i am carrying in my butt,my thighs,my face omg my face is swelling everyday.The baby is in front only and he is low all the time.I crave weired things like oatmeal and yogurt mixed it's really good,I also crave peanut butter,bread any kind of fruit I don't like alot of veggies.I also love cheesesteaks and french fries I'm getting hungry just thinking about food  

I've been pretty lucky really, I haven't gotten any type of morning sickness.   The only time I feel like I will be sick is if I don't eat something before I start to feel really hungry. I couldn't say if I were carrying high or low - I'm not too sure what that would mean. Some family members have said they thought I was carrying very high, but I don't really think so because I never feel him anywhere else except right below my belly button. So who knows?  

I have three pregnancies behind me...first a girl-carried all around, everywhere!! Twinboys came next-all in the front, like a torpedo couldn't even tell from the back that I was pregnant at all!! Baby Molly I carried all around again, thighs, belly, butt!! This time I am all in the front once more so I believe it is a boy.

Also I crave salty and crispy this time...same as the twins. With the girls was more sweet and lots of fruit!!

Never really had any morning sickness to talk about, threw up once only with each pregnancy...but tired always!! With the boys I was hungry all the time, but I believed it was because it was two of them...maybe not the only reason, I feel a lot more hungry this pregnancy than with Molly!! Interesting theories anyhow...
