I'm still pregnant...

Failed inductions suck ass.

So here I am, at home and still pregnant  
I went in at midnight last night and started prepidil at 1am, by 7am there were no cervical changes so no pitocin. They gave me 50mg Cytotec at 9 which didn't do anything, and another 100mg of cytotec at 1pm. By 1:30pm I was contracting HARD and went on that way until 6pm. The dr checked me again and I was only at a 1, he gave me a few options but I was so miserable and it was obvious that my body did not want to cooperate so I opted to go home.

I've been contracting every 5-7 mins since the 2nd dose of cytotec at 1pm. They have me scheduled to go back in and try again Friday at 1am.

Please pray it works then.

over here they wait 2 weeks past your dd before they induce. it could be worse

My doctor doesn't let anyone go past 41 weeks, and I wasn't doing it for your benefit lol...

I have until Monday for 41 weeks, he wants to try it Friday.

no offense but i think ur doc is silly for his ways ( dont even say u dont like rashid cuz i already know lol )
but i do think its ridic to " not let them go past 41 weeks" pregnancy can be up to 42 and if u have no serious medical issues i dont see the point
i know ur suffering trust me but look at today SHE SHOULD NOT BE FORCED OUT

Good luck! Hopefully she will decide to come soon! I'm excited for you! Is 1 centimeter about fingertip size? Cuz when i went to labor and delivery for bleeding they said that i was fingertip. Is it bad to dilate at only 32 weeks?

A fingertip is probably about a cm but that usually refers to the outer rim of the cervix, in order to truly be 1cm you'd have to be dilated on the inner and outer rims and the Dr should be able to slip his/her finger in the cervix at 1cm.

And no it's not a bad thing   Some women are dilated to a 2 or 3 for weeks others are completely closed and go into labor the next day.

I felt the same one week before but ended with c section anyhow it is wonderful to meet your baby whatever the method ha ha ..wish you a normal vaginal delivery
