Kicking in the back?!?

I was experiencing Braxon Hicks contractions today, and I called my ob, so he told me to take a tylenol and drink plenty of fluids and try to sleep, if the contractions didn't stop within an hour to go into labor and delievery. Well I did that and I went to lay down, and the baby started to get really active, like I was getting really big kick, and it felt like he did some kind of flip. But I was getting these kicks in the center of my stomach, instead of the usual spots on my left side. Well when I was getting kicked in the center of my stomach, I started to feel the same thing against my back...so can you feel the baby kick your back or something...it felt really weird.

Wow, I never felt the kicks in the back, I can imagine it felt weird.

I'm not even sure if it was kicks. I could of been feeling my pule, or the baby heart beat or something. LOL it just felt weird.

anybody else experience this? or heard of it..someone?

veronica has kicked me in the back probably about 3 times... close to my ribs.

it feels the same as when she kicks me in the stomach.... weird.

yeah it does feel wierd.

Yeah, my little one used to kick me in my lower back, but now she's getting to big so she just tries pushing her arms and legs out my right side and pushing on my right hip with her foot! Feels great! LOL
